As someone who lived in Japan for a number of years, I

always want to see Japanese sportspeople do well. So my hope for

tomorrow is a Takaaki win.

Great race. Well deserved win by Kalio. While it's a bit disappointing that Nakagami didn't win, this race shows that he can preserve his tyres for an entire race at the front. He's still only 21, so has a lot of career ahead of him.

What a great set of battles,

Awesome rides from Kallio Nakagami and Luthi.

Pol was impressive getting back to 4th it seems the tyre favours a longer slower warm up then pull the pin.

It was refreshing to watch some good fair racing.

Damage limitation for Scott, he did what he could.

Reminds me of Qatar 2007, after Stoner won his first MotoGP race. A few Aussies at the time remarked: "Isn't it nice to finally hear the anthem again!"--forgetting, of course, that Bayliss had won the last round in 2006.

Anyway, to answer your question, at the French Moto2 race this season the podium was Redding, Kallio and Simeon.

Yer telling me. I kid you not... this morning I woke up with this annoying melody in my head. It was driving me nuts.

Couldn't figure out what the hell it was, half way through my second coffee I realized it was the ....... Spanish national anthem. :wallbash:

Anyhoo... yeah. It was a great race. Remember when we were all bitching and moaning about how the loss of the two stroke 250s would destroy the mid-class series?
