Lorenzo = Great ride, new king of the start. Leading going into turn 1 on a regular basis  even if starting from second row.

Marquez =  Smart, calculated ride after another terrible start. Would have been a dog fight for the win had he not lost so much time stuck behind Pedrosa. Still extended his point lead

Pedrosa =  Good ride, finished where he belongs as the 3rd best rider in Moto Gp

Rossi = See above.

Championship not over, but headed into Honda territory. Will take mechanical or physical issue for Lorenzo and Pedrosa to get back in the hunt, but you never know with Marquez tossing the bike down the road on a regular basis in practice. Plus there is still the engine issue for Yamaha. Just think, if not for Marquez doing the improbable this year, the championship would be tied with 5 races to go.

Good race, excellent start by Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Dani did Jorge a huge favour, he kept Marquez busy and away from him long enough to allow Lorenzo to get a good lead there. I am sure Jorge will buy Dani a beer to say thanks :)

Great fight by the Honda boys, loved to see Pedrosa put the move on Marquez, he was always going to get back by though. I enjoyed their fight.

Special message for Arrab: IN MY OPINION, NEITHER HONDA RIDER WAS HOLDING BACK IN ANY WAY DURING THAT RACE IN THEIR BATTLE AGAINST EACH OTHER  ;)

Solid ride by Crutchlow, shame Bradl got him on the last lap after he'd managed to hold him off for so long.

All in all I enjoyed it.

This weekend was pretty dull and boring for races... I can't get excited about the battles for 2nd place. Pedrosa held up his teammate for too long and then they got involved in a battle. Very surprised that Pedrosa even finished 3rd, with how terrible he was riding all weekend.

notable: Pedrosa did a pass on MM at last, Crutchlow seems to develop similar to Dovi last year after signing for the reds, Bautista insignificant compared to the last races.

Looks like Yamahas seamless gearbox has hindered some of the "show" as now Rossi doesn't have to fight for 4th with the satellite bikes, he can just tootle around 15 seconds off the pace.

Wasn't there talk that if he could start better he would be able to fight for podiums more regularly, I was disappointed when this wasn't the case yesterday at a track he has won at twice before.

True, at least last year he got a podium on the Ducati which was supposed to be a rubbish bike ;)

Pedrosa's pass seemed pretty half-hearted. You just knew it wasn't going to last long.

My race take: Congrats Lorenzo, wining by determination.  Marquez, smart, in championship mode, evidenced by his "tip toeing" around Pedro.  (And said as much in his post race interview).  Pedro, overrated, but will continue fooling peeps.  VR, finishing where a world class rider on a top 4 machine would finish.  Bradl complimented by Cal's physical condition resulting from his UFC Silverstone.  Bautista, thanks for not killing anybody this weekend, you had your opportunities and exercised self-control.  Espargaro, reminded me of the time Ant West led a race on the Kwaker, then was told to pull in for a grid spot brain fade.  Ducati, best in class if the competition was destroying careers.  Edwards, please retire sir.  Karl Hopkins, please take a break kid.

My highlight of the weekend was in Moto2.  Nakagami's tribute to Tomizawa, total class.

Well the only hope J-Lo has of winning the championship (unless Marky mark breaks something) is if another rider can stop MM coming in second. Pedrosa's not going to do it. Rossi has to. I was a bit surprised how far off the pace he was yesterday given that he had decent pace in all the FP/WUPs (if memory serves)

Yup, and that's why my beer sodden post (Kesh picked it...Didn't notice how unco my typing was) was in support of VR. Just to see someone else mix it up...

I'm guessing everyone has seen this photo. Apparently he saved it some bloody how (perhaps Ezpeleta intervened). So remember kids, just when you think you've lost the front - it ain't over till it's over.

Completely unbelievable. No doubt the boy is good. I might have to become a fan myself if he learns to refrain from taking out backmarkers and/or marshalls during practice.
