Out of Nowhere
I don't recall skittles like that since the carnage in Moto2 Jerez at Curva Dry Sack - 2009 I think. Thank .... no one was seriously injured, although Beluga and Fenati were affected. Really calls into question this one bike rule - rushing to get damaged machinery out onto the grid.

Can see Mir progressing through the classes in Viñales style.

Don't really know why but I've taken a hearty dislike of Fenati all of a sudden, I even cheered when he fell off

Quite simple to solve,
Adopt the BSB you go down you don't rejoin rule.
Problem solved.
WSBK could learn something from BSB too and use a fcuking safety car instead of that two red flag and a second sighting lap after a start delay in WSS, it was shameful to watch and a big embarassment for the Imola circuit.
Especially when the supersport race comes after the feature race thus lowering the status of SBK race on the schedule.

This was discussed during the BT coverage. I didn't mention it because half the field would have been eliminated through something that was beyond their control. Far from 'problem solved' it would throw up more objections than the controversial one bike per rider rule is about to once more.

However if a rider crashes out of a race then I agree, he should not be allowed to take to the circuit again for safety reasons as was highlighted by Crutchlow at Losail. If on the other hand a race is red flagged due to a spillage, then those machines that went down and subsequently reassemble on the grid should be subject to further scrutiny by race direction.
