Not the most exciting race - but the last few laps were great.

Props to Torres and Corse. Redding's lead increased

from back in 7th place.

Congratulations, Jordi. Nice pass and control from the front

It decreased by 7 points?

Sorry for any confusion. His lead increased in spite of finishing in 7th..

Er, no it didn't.  Espargaro finished 3rd, so Redding's lead was cut by 7 points; it's now 143 points to 120.  Of course, if Pol had won the damage would've been worse.

Rising Sun, you don't post enough dude.

Decent racing.  Props to Torres and Corsi.  Redding needs to send these dudes flowers.

I have a question for Krops.  Can you please explain to me why Toni Elias' performance as suffered so much after his Moto2 title.  Anybody else can chime in, but I'm honestly trying to understand this loss of form.  I rate the guy highly and despite liking him as a person, I just can't understand why he has been sucking so much.  Yeah, I get hes no longer on a top tier team, but my gut feeling is that Dorna simply didn't want him to success as they wanted new faces.  Yes, that is my bias conspiracy cynical side talking, but if you have followed the sport, you know Dorna's influence makes and breaks careers.  But other than my conspiracy theory, what is going on with Elias?

I misunderstood. Thanks for clearing that up. This is what comes from not using Wiki.

Elias has never been consistent. Seems like the year he won - was more a question of his being the most experienced rider in the field. Now the teams have sorted out the basics of this class of bike, he no longer enjoys any advantage and he's reverted to his regular form.
