MAQ team press release: "marquez won't race but there's a small chance". Sorry I cannot explain.” So maybe MAQ will race?

There is a small chance he will race. He'll be at the track and if his vision improves he may be allowed to race. For Marquez to win the championship he would need to win and Bradl place 13 or worse.

It's a shame it had to end this way and not with a 5 point difference last race takes all weekend!

Marquez: "It is a shame, because I was looking forward to Valencia. With the injuries you can do nothing, especially being a sight problem."

he's tweeting now but i dont speaka da lingo

Congrats Stefan Bradl, kind of glad he beat marquez this year am sure no one will bet against marquez for next year, just h(ope here is some competition.

It would have been a tall order for him to have won after missing malaysia probably best he doesnt race if he isnt 100 percent!

That sucks. I hope it isn't any kind of permanent injury/impairment for Marc.

With head injuries, you never know. Thats why i said he should get to GP as fast as possible. Get the rookie status out of the way, then start banking big boy money.

Its been a grafting season for Stefan this year, kept his cool and got on with the job.Moto 2 has been outstanding again this season and now I look forward to seeing different engine manufacturers come into the class some time soon.

I think it's been a classic and tense speed vs. consistency season, with soem great racing too. I already can't wait for next year, although i fear MM might find things a bit too comfortable, but you never know. Its a shame we wont be getting the tension of the final show down on Sunday, but maybe there will be a series of miracles leading to Marquez trying to ride. Whatever happens Bradl has been brilliant this year, without making too much fuss about it either.

As for different engine manufacturers, don't get your hopes up. I'm sure I heard Julian Ryder say recently the exclusive engine supply deal has been extended to 2014 or something. I'm getting pretty optimistic about moto3 though

Everyone having identical low tuned engines is what leads to the pack racing you desire. If different manufacturers are allowed, it would just be a matter of time before one of them separated themselves from the pack, and the whining about boring races would soon follow.

I`m not interested in pack racing, big fella.Just need more of the same without the HRC stranglehold.

IMO the Malaysian GP organisers should have been given a much bigger fine for completely ruining what would have been an awesome finally to the moto2 championship. Bradl did well but Marquez deserved it as he has been the fastest rider since round 5.

Rubbish, Marquez made too many mistakes (as you would expect from a rookie). He threw away a few good finishes at the start of the year and then seriously dropped the ball in Oz (where he got of lightly to be honest). It is unfortunate what happened to him at Sepang but Bradl is a deserving champion. Congratulations go to him

All champions are deserving champions. If you put yourself in the position to win, you have done your job. Bradl's first 3rd of the season trumped Marquez's last 2/3. What was it William Munny said to little Bill "deserve got nothing to do with it".
