The FIM will issue an official statement on Monday morning, at which point in time it will be on MotoGP.com. But it's the weekend, so the FIM is closed.

Bummer...gonna have to cancel my hotel and train tickets for the weekend. Was looking forward to seeing the 2nd round of MotoGP in my back yard! Now I gotta wait another 6 months!! The championship could well be decided by then.

An e-mail from IRTA said that "Due to the continuing uncertainty about the availability of air travel the decision has been taken to cancel the Japanese Grand Prix on 25 April."

Sky news just announced it's OFF

Crap… If the whole World's Airplane Transportation System would only listen to me, I would fix all their troubles and emergencies like this erupting volcano breaching flights and communications.

I have had an idea that would change the World's Airplane Transportation System since almost 10 years now, and even with a response letter from the Mexican President like 7 years ago, I have not been able to get it through to who ever really matters and can do something about it.

I understand it would influence the whole World's Economy, but then again it would improve it too! On its way, it would help out MotoGP also!

Do tell, i need to know ???

obviously postponed to give Rossi's bruised back more time to heal. I seriously doubt if there even really IS a volcanic eruption going on.

About 10 years ago I thought about a way to improve Airplane Transportation. A couple of flights later with my wife, I tried to explain to her all the benefits my idea would bring. Little by little I continued developing the idea because once you think about it, it is so simple yet it would improve every single aspect of Airplane Transportation; from agility in transportation, to security, to better schedules, etc. Not just that, you can optimize from empty flights to air traffic, benefiting cities with less traffic, less pollution and less noise.

All this can be operated by changing the actual busiest airports, and smaller once can simply still operate as usual. Unlike with huge 800 passenger airplanes that need much longer tracks for liftoffs so airports have to be remodeled.

The thing is, my idea changes the whole thing, and on top could create whole new businesses related to it, because it can be adapted to whatever works out for anybody; from Emergency Flights (Air ambulances), to Sports (F1, MotoGP, Artists), to Entertainment (Tours or Air Restaurants), to Particular Planes (lowering down maintenance costs greatly), etc.

If you have someone we could contact and that could help Roger, I’ll talk to them in a blink!

Forgot to tell you, safety in airplane emergencies like engine failure is totally improved too!

One day government's will realise their electorate are a massive think tank. They need to have a place the common man can tell them of their ideas. It's not as if most government's are that imaginative is it.

I have a solution to crime and punishment that's fair but there is no place i can put my idea forward for consideration for the good of my country.

This is a shame, i was really looking forward to it! At least Elias, Lorenzo and anyone else recovering from injury has more time to get themselfes together before Jerez, one of my favorite GP's of the year. Lorenzo for the win!
