Great finds frosty. For some reason that race just seemed to have a huge black cloud hovering over it after that huge accident had happened, then it seemed to brighten a lot when Rossi was winning.

such a scary thing to happen...just imagine how Sete felt when all of a sudden hit front break locks up at those speeds. A similar accident happened in an AMA Superbike race a year or so ago...

I'm sure it's been mentioned but I just don't remember, but it was eerily similar to the accident with Doohan and Schwantz when Schwantz broke his wrist. The accident that more or less ended his career as he never fully recovered.

Even Rossi said that when he came back around after lap 1, before the restart, on the red flag....he was most worried about Melandri because at that point he was probably the only one still on the ground......
I don't know about the rest of you, but the only thing I think of when a rider isn't moving is the Rainey crash.....just hoping it never happens again...
But you're right Alex...the air got lighter when Rossi started racing....I wonder if he celebrated a bit more at the end with all the wheelies, to try and help lighten the mood a bit......(also he was pumped to win)

what's amazing in that last shot guys is how Marco, probably would have been better off if Pedrosa and Hopkins had been only...say a half second further forward than they were.....he might have cleared Pedrosa and not gotten sandwiched......

It shows Loris/Gibbers down on the floor and at first I thought it was him who got K.O. but he must of got up then the cameras turned to Marco who was basically in the same position?

First the cameras showed Loris who was motionless - then showed Marco. Sete was conscious during the crash. Loris did't get up right away he was carried out fast.
Capirossi was unconscious as he slideed into the gravel.
