all i can see is you are the one whining like a little girl about a rider who is giving his opinion about the track when asked about the track.
what do u want a person to say? be a robot and say "i love the track". at least he gives an insight for you and me as to what the track is REALLY like.

hes not the only one giving opinions about the track but he is the one who will always be asked and be quoted on because he is the championship leader and one of the fastest of the day.
u obviosly have never raced before and have no idea what your talking about.

OK so ive never raced. So answer this question for me since your a racer and the only one who has all the facts. Is the Ducati faster than the Yamaha from one corner to the next? yes or no?

Here ill help you.

Even Stoner's most ardent fans are not claiming he is better than rossi. All we ask is that he be given some credit, which most rossi fans will now give him. Are the laws of physics different for stoner than capirossi?

Now thats what I call a qual session! Bloody excellent stuff.............enjoy that more that than the brno race
<

Lets hope we see a battle tommorrow and not a run away race again, couldnt cope with that.

I agree. I sincerely hope the race is as competitive as qualifying. I think rossi may really pull something out so close to his (although not for tax reasons) home. Unfortunately the closeness of the race may still depend on whether the michelin race tyres last the distance.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE<div class='quotemain'>all i can see is you are the one whining like a little girl about a rider who is giving his opinion about the track when asked about the track.

How does saying that someone is whining, whining? That makes no sense o.0

Every track they've been to this year, Stoner's complained about the track surface. If he doesn't like the tracks, he can go and race in WSBK, race on those tracks instead.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(esco @ Sep 1 2007, 02:17 PM) <div class='quotemain'>
Im talking about Grunt here Antfan, and the ducs got loads of. from one corner to the next if used properly(Stoner) can always give the duc the advantage. Thats why i say he is riding good. Do you think the Tech 3 yamaha is as fast as the Factory Ducati? Guintoli is probably running too hot into the corners with that top speed.

I got say Hayden is really showing up DP. He just keeps ending up in front of him. hope he keeps this up. i think Hayden on the Duc would be pretty good too. It might suit his backing in style. :dntknw:

I think it would be very interesting to see hayden on the ducati. However he had the choice, and knocked it back.

Michelin Qualifiers have always been good.

The race tyres will be ..... 2-moro

i agree with you there, just like rossi today couldnt get a good time then they put on the qualifiying tyre and away to go, even rossi says that is gonna be harder with the race tyres i hope there ok tommorow cos i want to see some RACING not just rossi other michelin riders aswell.
today it just shows how much difference a good tyre makes.
got my fingers crossed for tommorow

one otherthing what you guys think about him using the new engine, risk or not?

does anyone know if he was usuing the pneumatic today?

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(vale4607 @ Sep 1 2007, 03:14 PM) <div class='quotemain'>
Troy Bayliss on a souped up street bike with Pirelli slicks, was almost as fast as Barros on the GP7 with qualifying tyres. Corser would have out qualified Capirossi and Nakano!

Sure and while your at it regarding relevant comparisons, why don't you compare laprimes from winter practice or from last year with oposite direction? That should make for an equally close comparisons. It was raining yesterday => the track is slippery.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(CSCVAW @ Sep 1 2007, 01:02 PM) <div class='quotemain'>
Skid I’m not jealous at all I like Hoppers g/f....you mark my words!!!...Westy will beat him!!!...and hopper will be the biggest flop (well he has been: in motoGP since...let me think...ohm I will be very controversial NOW...Loris Capirossi!!!...
<
<
<

That's not being controversial. Capirossi with his numerous years in Moto GP is by the definition of the word NOT a flop. It's like claming Stoner is spanish, and make just as much sense.

Didn't see all of it, fell asleep the first half hour!!
<

Not that it matters really, was really exciting in the end. I already had a feeling Casey would take pole today. He's been bloody fast all weekend!! Valentino tried, but it wasn't enough. Hopefully for him, he'll have a good start tomorrow. Cause if Stoner can ride away immediately it's over. I think its gonna be very exciting tomorrow.

Also well done to Hayden!!! Hopefully he'll ride a strong race too!!

A lot of other riders in the press releases have complained about how bumpy the surface is. Are they all whining?

None that I saw of, I saw Rossi saying the track surface was fine, and then Stoner complaining about it.

This is exactly what i was telling you. I bet any money that Colin is a better racer than you are PINKY. this is what colin had to say. Like i said its easy to notice during the race too.

"There’s still some bumps but it’s the same for everybody and where they re-paved it is fine, “added Edwards.

whats your point? he too said its bumpy.

why cant stoner give his opinion on the track, i cant see how he is complaining he is on top of the time sheets. its just his opinion.

i can see the other complainng, oh i dont have stright line speed, no grip, lots of chatter... well then get your ... over to your engineers and work with them to fix it.

i am pretty sure he did.

yam are very worried about the fuel comsumption of the new engine so not sure if they are using it in the race yet even though vale wants too

NO NO NOOOO!!!...How Good Was That last Lap...he did a Rossi on Rossi!!!
<
<
<
.....

that last lap pic on the telly on britsh eurosport was a classic bit of telly

showed rossi getting fastest lap then patting the bike like a championship jockey winning a race and thanking his horse and thumping the air.

next pic showed rossi looking over his shoulder watching the big screen as Casey took it from under him.

I would loved to have seen the look on his face.

I only hope the race is as close as the qual is.

Michelin quals are good , but they also mask up any problems the bike may have in race trim

exactly everyone is saying rossi is back he came 2nd in qualify but you forget that michelin can make a okay tire that lasts 2 laps most likely we will see stoner ahead and a battle with hayden rossi and hopkins

a few others have pointed out the arm chair racers opinions that is also one thing I find displeasure with is people who have never ridden or never been to a track saying I see them doing this and that, But Im not saying Im anything great but do have alot of personal experience and metal in my body to back it up haha
<

I havent seen anything on tv yet unfornately tho so I cant comment directly just reading the timesheets and news but lets hope its not as what in my mind I see happening but I am sure the fan will try their best to help rossi put up a fight to stoner

Was it raining during qualifying? I forgot they run Pirelli tyres in MotoGP. The comparison highlights how ...... crap Nakano, and in particular Barros and Capirossi are running on the pole winning machine. A street bike on Pirelli race rubber is almost as fast as Barros on qualifying tyres.

From the Kawasaki press release

"This afternoon's qualifying was held in superb, sunny conditions with an air temperature of 23°C and track temperature of 42°C."

Terrible conditions.

One of the best qualifying sessions I have witnessed all year, hopefully it will be a close race.
