Nakano's now only 1.1 off the pace, reckon he put a qualifier in?
<

But seriously, with ten minutes to go and times not coming down significantly, usually qualifiers are in by now on at least some of the teams. Reckon its started raining, hence the lack of better times?

Is this a 1 hour session or 2 hour session?

The top sixes last times were the best, Vermeulen's just taken the lead.

There's only eight minutes left, which suggests only one hour. Unless this is a free practice and qualifying is still to come?

Nope, this is definitely qualifying.

Rossi top from Stoner from Vermeulen.

Hayden set 1.34.4, then Rossi set 1.34.0

Vermeulen down in seventh now.

looks like rossi got a good setup , stoner is flying should be a good one tommorow guys just hope rossi's race tyre can hold the pressure
michelin looking good.

De Puniet 4th, West 10th
Hopkins 5th, Vermeulen 8th.

Still, at least Stoner beat Capirossi
<

1 second separating the top 10 with a good mix of bikes, tyres and riders. Should be a good race! Do we still need a control tyre?

"I'm not so impressed with the track, there are some points where it's very, very bumpy and also the circuit in some places is unbelievably slippery in the wet, it's similar to Donington and worse at some corners," stated Stoner,

Seriously, does he ever stop whining? This was yesterday.

Does he ever stop winning? Where is the whine? He can say whatever he feels especially when he does the business!

See if DePuniet and Hopkins beat West and CV in the race Israeli, thats when it counts.. Good chance RdP will end the race in the gravel traps building sand castles..

Winning!!! ... its spelled Winning
<
<
<

I think he has even got to the stage of playing "Mind Games" Everyone making last lap lunges and he still pops out a faster lap!!! in the last lap of practice.

Still tommorrow will be very hard for Stoner, as even the age tempered Rossi ( if you can call his still brilliant performance so far ... "tempered"
<
) will find some of that "motivation overload" again, as it is an Italian track.

Capirossi Who????
<
<
<
Is he riding a Ducati???
<
<
<

Troy Bayliss on a souped up street bike with Pirelli slicks, was almost as fast as Barros on the GP7 with qualifying tyres. Corser would have out qualified Capirossi and Nakano!

the Ducati can pull a few tenths on any bike on the grid especially the yamaha which is even slower then the kawa. yeah Stoner is riding good but danm stop praising only stoner. his bike can pull 5 bike lenths on the long straights of other circuits. Or have you not been wathing the videos? I hope the michelins can last race distance. i heard Stoner they ran a race distance simulation on SOFT TIRES.
<

Umm, funnily enough Sylvain Guintoli's SLOW Yamaha was the fastest bike through the speed trap during QP...

I hate to be pedantic, but you can't build sand castles in gravel traps. Only gravel castles

Im talking about Grunt here Antfan, and the ducs got loads of. from one corner to the next if used properly(Stoner) can always give the duc the advantage. Thats why i say he is riding good. Do you think the Tech 3 yamaha is as fast as the Factory Ducati? Guintoli is probably running too hot into the corners with that top speed.

I got say Hayden is really showing up DP. He just keeps ending up in front of him. hope he keeps this up. i think Hayden on the Duc would be pretty good too. It might suit his backing in style.

all i can see is you are the one whining like a little girl about a rider who is giving his opinion about the track when asked about the track.

what do u want a person to say? be a robot and say "i love the track". at least he gives an insight for you and me as to what the track is REALLY like.

hes not the only one giving opinions about the track but he is the one who will always be asked and be quoted on because he is the championship leader and one of the fastest of the day.

u obviosly have never raced before and have no idea what your talking about.

Top 10 places

5 - bridgestone
5 - Michelin

Average bridgestone position - 5.6
Average michelin position - 5.4

We'll see how the race goes, but it looks promising.

Hayden again shows he's one of the fastest on the grid, hopefully he can keep the pace the entire race distance
<
and he shows what he can do when he's not down a decade on track experience.
<

<
Looks like it's gonna be a good race
