hope max can be up at the front by the start of next year again, his bad luck this year robbed us of another bike battling for wins and podiums. looks like haslam will be his team mate too. lets hope his doctors have got it right!

I know we're supposed to be getting Yukio back, but I've not heard anything about that, is it definite?

Confirmed! Max N is out for Sylvain Guintoli. Good ....

The official version is Guintoli is replacing Kagayama. I guess that means Haslam is replacing Neukirchner. Either way it's an all new start for Alstare. Anyone herard anything else about the possibility of Yoshimura fielding a WSBK team.

The past few days have been very busy for us. We began our negotiations with Sylvain Guintoli late last Thursday evening and worked throughout the weekend to finalise the agreement. Thanks to the quick response and excellent collaboration between Suzuki Japan, Suzuki GB and Team Crescent’s Paul Denning, we were quickly able to conclude a very satisfactory deal allowing Sylvain’s arrival at Alstare (for the World Superbike Championship, on an official factory bike) and Yukio Kagayama’s return to BSB with Team Crescent, who are looking forward to working with him again.

Alstare would like to thank Yukio for his skill and courage during the five years of working together and wish him all the best in his fight for the BSB crown next year.

The question now is, will Ten Kate pick him up? Obviously the guy has speed, he picked up a few podiums at the beginning of the season, but can he get back on and be back up to speed for next year? Will Ten Kate take the risk? I hope they do, Max is a fast guy and deserves another shot.

I'm just afraid that next year, the Ducati duo of Haga/Fabi will completely dominate.

Where's your source? Why would they let go of a double BSB Champion? His first year he came in and beat Troy Bayliss and Noriyuki Haga for the double win at Brands Hatch. Thanks Google.

It's all just rumors.

I can't see Honda letting him go after the BSB titles and the 8-Hour win, but I wouldn't be surprised if they moved him.

Ah right, makes sense now. I never even noticed the BMW logo on him.

Yeah, just a bit.

no not to my knowledge. Paul Bird did say that the 2nd rider would be british so that means its down to either Sykes or Shakey byrne. byrne was tipped heavily to join but now it seems that sykes is a frontrunner for the seat too! personally i would prefer shakey as he has much more experience and might be a better foil for CV than sykes who has been of little use in the fight for the constructors champinship and as spies wingman.....

He said the 2nd rider was going to be a Brit but did he say from what series? Could Camier be a possibility?

I cringe anytime a good rider decides to ride with team Career Killer, I mean Kawasaki. I hope CV and his unknown teammate can prove us wrong.

Neukirchner confirmed at Ten Kate

Camier has to be a possibility as it looks pretty unlikely he'll still be in Britain next year, but it seems like Sykes will get it, with Camier or Byrne (or possibly both) at Aprilia.
