What are the main problems they face at this stage?
We believe that Michelin is working hard, but we had problems in Sachsenring, Brno and Laguna Seca. There used to mistakes, and as an engineer, I can not understand how they can make mistakes in three runs followed.
Michelin suffered a restriction by a rule designed to reduce the cost of racing tires. Is it time to break this rule?
We have discussed this aspect with Michelin, but we believe that this limitation is only part of the problem. We do not know if it would disappear if that rule was eliminated.

Michelin was tested in Brno mid-June with two pilots, who stayed nearly four seconds from the circuit record (2:00.9). Would it be better if they could perform two tests, one for identifying problems and another to test the solutions?
I did not know that Michelin tested there before the race. I believe that a second test would have been a good solution. But as I said, the rules of the tyres is only part of the problem. We have had meetings with Michelin technicians to find out why we have failed. We want to find a measure to solve the problem, but apparently are not convinced they have found the source of errors and we were not convinced.
Last year said that he would support their pilots managed to plant for Bridgestone tyres. Is this strategy again?
Yes.
At the moment Bridgestone has said it could not produce more tires.
So we will have to convince.
Do we have to read between the lines on the fact that Nakano is developing the bike with Bridgestone 2009?
It has nothing to do with the fact that we want for our Bridgestone motorcycle officer. The people of Gresini has had very good working relationship with us and is helping us develop the bike.
We are close to reaching the minimum number of motorbikes in the MotoGP grid. Can we do something about that?
All manufacturers are working in MotoGP. I believe that the high costs pose the biggest problem, so what are the parties seek more costly to reduce them. But, always maintaining safety levels.
How can reduce costs?
I am in charge of two departments: production and competition. The exchange of technology is vital. If you do, it makes you work harder to achieve your goal.
Is Honda does not agree to limit technology?
We can not let the situation continue as it is.We would like to add technology to make things better. We want our fans attending races exciting, but also help improve the safety of pilots. Both are important.
