Martin Finnegan aged 29 was killed today in a racing accident at the Tandragee 100 held in Northern Ireland.
The accident happened whilst the multiple irish road race champion was competing in the 600cc race, haven just won his 43rd road race, it is thought his engine went Pop causing him to lose control and hit a hedge at 140mph, also injuring 3 spectators.
Another terrible loss to the road race superstars.

not sure how true this is yet but supposedly his brake lines bust and Martin being such a late braker never had a chance!!

Didn't know much about him, but its truly a sad time for all involved, so my condolences to all, and RIP.
