The accident stunned or winded him, but he seemed to get up and walk away without limping or showing any other signs of injury. What did he break or bend? I was hoping for an on-track finish to the title race.

Aside from bangs and bruises all around - his main complaint was concussion. If you saw him in his garage during
the Moto 2 race watching the race on a monitor - you'd have noted he was wearing an eye patch. Not because he
had any optical injury - but rather because he was "seeing stars" and probably suffering double vision.
