Hi, what are the rules on two bikes of the same rider on the track together as in moto gp qualifying.Marquese parked one bike on the track wall and ran back for his second bike.

Well, judging from the result, it appears there's no issue. All the riders have multiple bikes to use as they see fit.

Ok we know they have two bikes to use but surely one must be in the pit box at all times.

No penalties were assessed. The marshals could have red flagged the session if they thought the situation was dangerous. Clearly the calculation was that the bike posed to threat.

Nope.

If a rider crashes the marshalls will firstly recover the rider and return that rider to their pit box/bay (where the rider does not require medical attention of course).

The rider is then free to return to the track even if his original bike has not been returned to the pits for repair etc.

As such, MM did nothing wrong as at no time were he riding two bikes on track at the same time (mind you, he may well do tat as his next trick)

No conspiracy, no favouritism.

True Levi.

The bike was in a harmless and very safe position posing no risk to anyone at all.

It may well have been covered by a local yellow but certainly no other flags were required
