Someone here pointed out that MM always tests the limits. With his extraordinary skill that means crashing and saving and moving on at a limit most have never even thought about attempting.Marquez crashes nearly every weekend in practice and/or qualifying. Marquez crashes in qualy yesterday.
Kevin McGee logic - championship pressure is getting to Marquez.
Really disappointed about Luthi. Solid player. And this is a sorry way to lose the Championship.
(No spoiler, JohnnyKnockdown, because it isn't a result of a race. So the Moto2 and Moto3 sections can continue to be filled with your posts.)
Whilst I don't think it's a great thing, it's the only choice to be made in a situation like this. Running 1 & 2 comfortably, and finishing in that order costs one of your riders the title. No team is going to want that finish.A lot of very unhappy people with the mapping 8 situation. Probably not helped at all by Lorenzos post race interview.

What is good though is seeing George back at the front and hopefully dispelling the "can't run in the wet" ......... As he gets more confident on that bike I expect him to be a serious contender next year.
JLo clearly could ride in the wet today...better than some of the rain masters...
However, today it was about the team and not the man....Ducati gave the order and after he made the 'mistake'....JLo obeyed the team....
Kudos to JLo for being big enough to obey....some of you will say no it was all down to the mistake...

Mapping number 8 situation....strangely didnt some one this thread say or suggest that Ducati does not give team orders....perhaps that person was right since Mapping number 8 was a suggestion....a 12million Euro one at that....
Kudos to JLo for being big enough to obey....some of you will say no it was all down to the mistake....well it was that then clearly his ambition was greater than his talent again....so lets just say it was a well planned strategy by Ducati...
Dovi did what was needed, and luckily for him so did Zarco....overwise the title fight would be over....
Now, next race Dovi must win, and every Ducati rider has to get in the way of MM.....JLo and Petrux have no choice but to hinder MM...if they can...
2017, all riders who are Italian or on an italian bike should help Dovi to make sure Marquez doesn't win the championship.

Can't see it either. Marquez knows that he doesn't have to burst a gut to become champion and baring an engine blow up ala Silverstone or getting tangled up at the start I'd reckon he's done enough.Marquez only has to finish in the top 10 to win and tbo I don't think the Duc stands a chance at Valencia, its such a twisty little circuit.
