Hope the car will be black and yellow!

Otherwise they fail before they even begin...

I was wondering if Lotus will make an impressive come back or not. Cause F1 really needs that atm so things remain interesting

Im def gonna be tuned in in 2010.

Actually, this Lotus team has nothing associated with the car brand. It is a Malaysian company who founded the team. That means probably more money than the automaker Lotus would bring to the table to compete, but not enough to challenge for anything but "King of the Midpack".

And to make things more troublesome, they hired Alex Yoong to be the driver development and evaluator.

Jarno Trulli and Heikki Kovalainen have been confirmed to be Lotus 2010 drivers.

I think they have potential. Obviously not a top team next year but I'm sure they would be happy to be "king of the mid-pack". Kovalainen has a lot to prove after failing to match Hamilton on Mclaren and Trulli is an experienced driver which is propably good for a new team.

Let's see.

Well apparently it's gonna be a tough year for MaLotus, they were counting on Petronas backing and the Malaysian oil company just signed a deal with Mercedes. Can't really blame Petronas. Mercedes GP looks pretty solid and a media booster if they finally get Schumi and Lotus have NeverHasBeen Trulli and NeverWillBe Kovalainen and a completely unknown car.

does the unknown keep you a little excited ?

I don't think Trulli is a NeverHasBeen...

He has just never been in the right team in the right time. If you check his past, he was Alonso's team mate for two years in Renault. In 2003 managing 8th in standings while alonso was 6th. And in 2004 Trulli was 6th while Alonso was 4th. That's not too far behind really when you compare it to the results of someone like Piquet as Alonso's team mate...

After that he has been driving in the most average team ever (Toyota) so who can blame him for the average results? Atleast he has scored points every season and as far as I can remember, doesn't do that many mistakes.
