Jums, I have been keeping out of this and would like to continue to do so as I am here for the race talk and banter with the crew that we have but I would like to address this quoted section if I can ............

You have offered your help, guidance and place to me personally and many of us Aussies should we ever get to your part of the world, be we there for racing or simply to experience the US and for that, whilst I have not taken it up I am eternally grateful and like many of the Aussies have made similar offers.

Now, I am yet to meet you but have had many dealings with you through this place and personally I have no issues at all believing you to be a genuine, trustworthy individual who does the best they can for the people in their charge. ...., some of the old race meet-up stores and threads are still some of the best in this joint. In all of these threads I did not see, read or even have suspicion that people were anything short of appreciative of you and your efforts or that people were in any way unhappy with what you had done for them.

Now to see that you feel that you need to justify (may be an incorrect word there so apologies) the fact that you are a person concerned with assisting others, and not just others but people who are somewhat random to you is a shame as the fact that you put yourself there says more of you than you will ever know.

I take integrity very strongly and know that it hurts when people question it, may be worse than hurts as it cuts one up as you know internally that what you feel is unjust as you know what you did and you know the full story of what you did, so to have it questioned pisses you off.

Now, after my preamble to what I perhaps should have said earlier.

Let it be known that irrespective of what gets said here or anywhere else (and I have not seen anything anywhere else) how you treat people, and how you always offer yourself is well known, well respected, well regarded and well thought of and no matter what banter occurs, it shall remain so.

Similarly for me, no one, particularly me, doubts that Jumkie is both hospitable and genuine, he certainly was going to go out of his way to get me to Laguna Seca one year, but I was too disorganised to take advantage of his offer. He has been a major reason that I have participated in this forum all these years, initially bonding (as far as you can on the internet anyway) over our shared fandom of Nicky Hayden and Casey Stoner and what we believed was the unfairness of the attitudes of some to their 2006 and 2007 world titles. I am sure we would be real life friends if we ever did meet, a planned meeting was subverted by a hurricane which diverted my plane a few years ago.

I have like you been trying to stick to race talk because I can't see any good coming from any involvement from me, as it didn't last time I tried, which actually led to attacks on Jumkie's friends ouside the forum (not from Keshav), and making people angry or defensive is often what provokes them to say things they might not normally say.

Yet he had no problem requesting special sleeping quarters in this supposed rusty motorhome.

Figure that one out. Actually who could. It shows a complete lack of gratitude for something that did not have to be done for him but was out of nothing more than kindness.

Thought you weren't weighing in. Never requested any special sleeping quarters. This is utter horseshit. Again, it was a nice gesture, but it doesn't amount to a get out of jail free card. Jumkie's been a .... to me ever since Rog left. You guys cherry pick what you want to focus on because your biases direct you that way. And - you weren't there. You only have his word and his word is worth ..... 90% of his bitching and moaning is exaggerated beyond recognition nonsense and the rest is complete fabrication.

I don't care how much you adore him. Doesn't make him some ....... sacred cow whose name cannot be uttered. Get over it.

My post was a response to all the crap Jumkie whined about. It was in no way directed to you.

Simple Kesh ............. than quote those with whom you wish to debate, not those outside it, or better yet, just ignore and move on to race talk

Synn is quite knowledgeable about actual bike racing and capable of good discussion about bike matters, even if his biases are different than yours or mine, and I think genuinely wants to be part of the forum for actual bike racing discussion.

The laughable schoolboy personal insults are just that, laughable, so laugh at the them as I have decided should be my attitude.

Truth angers.

I weighed in when you dragged me into your neverending .........

For Ganesha’s sake, Kancer....

When extremists, pacifists, neutralists, rossi fans, rossi haters, what’s a rossi-ers all come together and agree on ONE THING; That you need to shut the .... up for a bit;

The problem is NOT WITH THE UNIVERSE. The problem is YOU.

Take the advise, take a little vacation, go ride around on that suzuki of yours. It will be the most constructive thing you have done in this community for a long time. Really.

I've answered this question several times. Kesh has been asking this. It is a deflection, and you asking it serves Keshav's purpose and lack of responsibility. With all do respect Pye, children often use such logic when confronted with misbehaving, "well, he did it". Sound familiar? "What about him?" Sound familiar? What does the adult usually respond? 'Take responsibility for your own actions.' Would you like me to elaborate?

If you live in a glass house don't throw rocks.

Its not a deflection at all, your business with Keshav is just that..your business..i'm not getting involved because it's none of my business..you two should take it somewhere else..as for synn i find him quite knowledgable and just wish he would stick to race talk and cut out all the ..........but the fact remains few people here call him out yet everybody rightly or wrongly is calling out Keshav...so..since you have took it upon yourself to answer a question i put out there for everybody and insinuate that i'm being childish by asking please tell me why you never call out synn for his trolling? Forget Keshav, this isn't about him..there's more going on on here than just your spat with him however aggrieved you may be..and i'm not saying you haven't got a point...tell me why you and others never tell synn to quit..could it be because it serves your purpose because of his target so you're perfectly happy for him to keep spitting poison?

You count me in on that too, Mike.

I've never driven an MX5. Everyone who has raves about them.

I need to try one.

Mate, I used to dismiss them out of hand as, 'a hair dressers car,' (I hasten to add that that was during my uneducated youth), but that was up until I drove one.
They are great pieces of kit and, as cars go, fantastic fun.
Highly recommended, fella.

I have had four of them, and have not ever in my life cut anyone’s hair, although the (female) hairdresser who has cut my hair for 20 odd years did also have an MX5 at one stage. In retrospect the first one, the original model was the best, certainly the purest sports car and closest to the the Lotus Elan which more or less inspired it, no power steering, very light by modern standards etc. The black SP turbo was fairly close to being brutal. I had one of the Turbo Mazda 6 MPS things for a year and traded it in for another MX5, the MX5 being fun even to drive around in town particularly with the top down, which the other wasn’t particularly.

Had a top down car, but living in the tropics it just meant constant sunburn. Got myself a nice Aurion Presara at the moment, with a moon roof for winter afternoon cruising.

Just a point of fact, she can correct me if I'm wrong, but Furiosa is a big girl.

WAIT EDIT: crap that doesn't sound right, I mean "big girl" in the sense that you can handle yourself, not like big girl as in fat. Which if you are plus size doesn't mean it's a bad thing either.

Payne, Furiosa is a 'female'. (Not that girls can't be called "guys" in US colloquialism.)

If you live in a glass house don't throw rocks.

Roger that, thanks for letting me know fella (hope that is the correct gender).

Apologies to Furiosa. I guess I should have figured from the Fury Road reference but I hope no offence was taken.

None needed. I'm not bothered if folks think I'm male... I have the stature of a 14 year old boy, to be fair. It's not like you all looked at me and went "umm.. what we goin with? male?!". It's all good.

Can't believe it's only Tuesday. Sheesh, c'mon Friday! (and please please please please please, it wasn't a fluke, pleeeeeeeease!)

Agree. Too bad he perceived me as some alpha dog that needed to be taken down a notch. A silly idea. To my way of thinking, the internet is as egalitarian a place as you'll find. I'd be more than happy to discuss racing with Synn, as long as he wasn't constantly trying to dominate the conversation with endless schoolboy insults. I'm not "hurt" by them. It's just tedious.

He can't help himself mate.
And you apparently can't help yourself when it comes to chiming in. Why you waste your time trying to scold me is anybody's guess. It should be clear by now that I respond with civility to those who offer the same. Your scolding only makes me more stubbornly resistant to your fruitless attempts to police the forum. If you want to play at the net nanny game, be my guest. It should be clear - I'm not a person who automatically respects authority, and one who really doesn't respect those who take it on themselves to play at being some kind of internet boss.

It can be taken a step or two further back than that however. The situation whatever the rights and wrongs may have been in the past was an armed truce, as with the Korean War, no peace was ever declared or treaty made. If you assessed Synn as pretty much an obnoxious ........, a view which I have held myself at times particularly early on, Kesh drew the immediate conclusion that a random obnoxious ........ appearing on the forum could only be Jumkie’s dear real world friend Roger, who hasn’t posted on here for many years.
