WHy would Lorenzo leave Yamaha!!?? the best bike out there, have been since not long after JB got there and looks like they will be so for a few years at least. WHy leave unless you feel you will never be number one there. So who is the reason he doubts he will be No. 1 after Rossi goes?
But Lorenzo may know he will be #1 ‘If’ and ‘After’ Rossi leaves, he just has to prove himself worthy… The thing is, he does not want to wait 2.5 more Seasons (Beginnings of 2012) for Rossi to achieve the ‘All Riders All Times Most Wins’ Record (Remember 49x46.88%=23).

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Pedrosa not signed yet ..... ok someones coming there ...... that'll be Lorenzo.
Honda already stated that Lorenzo’s pretensions are too much money and too much control over development, which of course won’t get until his proves to be as good at it as Rossi. So he should stick to #2 for a while.
And Piug and Pedrosa may say whatever, but as long as Repsol backups Pedrosa (And I think they back him up more than they would Lorenzo), he has a sit at HRC.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>But what of Yamaha ....... Only Rossi and Stoner are signed for a while. JB was hunting for Stoner some time ago. SO here's the recipe, Rossi may want to leave at the end of his contract this time ..... finish on a high and all that ( best way to go
Rossi may want to leave at 124 wins, 2.5 more Seasons. I also doubt that if Rossi starts 2012 and gets the Record he wants, he’ll quit mid Season.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>But they want a rider to replace him ...... Stoner ...... its a long term plan
Really ‘Long’ term, and by that time more youngsters will surge up… Stoner also proved at Honda that an easier ride bike was not his best, and that is what Yamaha has become with development from Rossi / Burges.
