Lorenzo defies Pedrosa... again

I translate on the fly the best quotes from an interview to Lorenzo at Europa Press:

I'd beat Pedrosa on his very same bike. I may be proven wrong and Pedrosa might be better than me.

Last season, whenever he got the pole, I congratulated him. He stopped congratulating me when it was me who got it so that was it. In Germany he declared not having seen me when I clipped him. He knew perfectly well that it was me [who bumped into him]. I didn't like his not being honest. We'll never get along together, we don't even have eye contact.

Dovizioso is not naturally talented but he is where he is because he minimises his risks. He is the most intelligent rider in 250 cc. and perhaps across the motogp classes.

I know that some compare me to Kevin Schwantz in aggresivity and in being so impulsive but I just wish I could be as good as he was,... only smarter.

I don't have any friends in the circus; we all have too many conflicting interests in it.

I do think that Pedrosa is a bit of a mummie's boy when he can't get his own way though, a bit like Rossi sometimes.

Pedrosa doesn't do much talking, he has a couple of close friends in the paddock and that's it. Lorenzo is like dynamite ... he explodes with ease. He gets annoyed very easily and then he starts talking and doesn't shut up.

I think Dani would wipe Lorenzo on Dani's 250cc Honda, Dani was the only rider to make that bike work properly.

Lorenzo is very fast when things go right for him, but he's a bit of a Stoner, he'll crash more often than not. Though his last races have been very unlike him.

The guy is a Biaggi. I agree with Teo, Dani would .... all over him in motoGP, just like he did in 250s. Arrogant kid needs to be put in his place.

well i'll tell ya. he will be in motogp no later than 08 season. he's spanish, sponsor friendly, & has a fair amount of fan's. count on it!

Well if he rides as fast and crazy as he usually does it will be really fun, his nickname is "por fuera" which is a reference to his tendency to overtake on the outside of the corners, I remember in his 125cc days he use to make overtaking manouvers that makes the Rossi-Sete shunt at Jerez look soft.
It should liven up the boring races in the future when Dani is leading half a minute ahead of 2nd.

I predict Lozzy in MotoGP will make Biaggi`s career look like a puppet show. He`ll trash talk anything that looks at him funny, make several unforgettable public outbursts, his "techniques" will soil many underpants, both on the track and in the spectator`s seat, and he`ll chew thorugh diffrent teams like he does lollypops, every year or so making enemies out of team bosses, manufacturers, and rival riders, until he runs out of steam, or lifelines, like Biaggi did. Should be good to watch. Him and Pedrosa might be like the Spanish version of Schwantz and Rainey, one cool and calculated, the other one just plain wild.

He seems like a tool but hey it makes the weekend an even better circus. Just wish he would stop suckin on those lollie pops!! i know chubba chub is a sponsor and all but its not needed unless Chubba pay his dental fees......... Good rider but.

Dont like how he says Andrea D hasnt got natural skill

I think he`d actually get along with Biaggi, I mean, isn`t Max one of his heroes? And Biaggi would love to have another whinger to back him up when he goes on one of his "It`s the bike`s fault" rants, it makes his claims more valid if someone seconds him

I agree, Dovi is smart, but he`s got plenty of talent too, maybe not as much as some of the other guys, but he`s definately up there with the best in the class.
