I'll be going to the MotoGP at Le Mans on 15 May, went last year and had a great weekend.
As that was my first trip to Le Mans, we didn't really see much in terms of events outside the track, so if there's anyone out there with advice & tips about what else to see and do on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, please post your ideas.
This year we're travelling via Euro Tunnel on Saturday morning, and staying near Chartres for the weekend. My only real travelling concern is navigating through Rouen, but I would be interested in things to see on the way down from Calais. Don't think we'll have time to get to the Practice on Saturday afternoon though.
Race forecast:
1. Rossi (bit obvious, but no other real contenders)
2. Sete (his season has got to kick in at Le Mans!)
3. OJ (pretty sure he'll be in, and if he can carry his form from Shanghai??)
Also rans. . . .
