Has someone been putting E in the server or something?

Ok Rossi and Ducati. I think in the end what works for Rossi will work for all the other Ducati riders anyway.

A fan before Stoner was born? You got me there!

Buying wsbk so that they have all avenues covered and can dictate terms to the manufacturers - thats a good point. I was surprised watching SBK when Craig Martin described the forks and shock they run as motogp spec. Me thinks SBK has gone too far towards motogp if thats the case. Pull SBK back a bit to production to give room for motogp to slow down development and reduce cost. Sounds good to me.

As you should have been, because i think he is full of ..... A quick look at tech regs, and for GP, there is one short paragraph, saying no electronic damping and height adjustment, thats it, whereas WSBK regs has that pesky word 'homologated' throughout. He also said the Aprilia and Yamaha were pumping out 250 Hp, i aint buying it.

Forget Rossi for 2 seconds, last time I said 1 second but that was obviously not enough.

What is conventional in motogp? Is it a I4 bigbang, a V4 screamer, a V4 big bang, a seamless shift box? When a manufacturer comes up with something new and brilliant, they steal the lead for a while as the others catch up. 2004 Yamaha I4 is an example against a V5 which in theory could not be beaten. This is the name of the game, the whole game. Never has a copycat mentality been successful in motogp. By the time one copies, the other has already moved ahead again, then again, then again...........................

Who knows the future? Maybe in 2013 Bridgestone will be gone, and Michelin will return? Maybe the new Michelin's will suit a carbon frame bike more than any other, and Ducati and Bradl will win 3 w/c while the others are trying to catch up. If they want to try an alloy frame I see no problem but if the way forward is to be conventional and play follow the leader I cant see how Ducati can be any better than Suzuki has over the last 10 years?

Im pretty sure Bridgestone re upped as tire supplier for 3 more years 12-13-14. I just never heard if they were going to charge for the tires. They have been free to the GP teams, but after looking at the racing landscape, Moto 2, WSBK and many other prominent series are all paying for their rubber and Bridgestone said to re up, teams would have to start paying. In my opinion, that is when they can start bitching about tires and allocations, when they pay for them. Its easy to sit here and say Bridgestone has done a lousy job, there needs to be more compound choices, they should get rubber that works with their specific bike. Fine, pay me ............ and i will make whatever your wallet can stand.

Last hope in his mind perhaps? He's said in the past that 1000's might be the only thing keeping him in MotoGp - http://www.visordown.com/motorcycle...0cc-engines-could-keep-me-in-motogp/9369.html

Personally I can't see it fixing the problems he identifies with the racing - it'll change things for sure, but I don't know if it'll help Vale unless the whole team (him included) pulls something out of their arse. There are so many variables it's pretty hard to speculate on this one... My two cents - http://whoneedsfourwheels.blogspot.com/2011/09/doctors-medicine-rossi-with-1000.html

Jesus, can a site be any more bias?

This quote had me rolling:

There were even rumors circulating the paddock that Valentino's decision to race the bike was specifically for this reason; to make it abundantly clear to Ducati that something very different was needed.

Oh, so Rossi now meant to race a .... product all along just to make a statement. Hahaha.

Yeah, Rossi specifically asked for a ..... bike, and Stoner pretended to be tired. Drone will do anything to make Jorge and Dani look good.

Made the text brighter, hope it helps! =]

It did help... a bit. Thanx. Basically what I did was highlight your text, this encases it in light blue, which makes it even easier to read. However, may I humbly suggest that if you increased the opacity around the text, it would make it easier to read. Hope you don't mind the constructive critic. It looks like you put in some effort, and I wouldn't want people turning away because they can't read the text. (Like the part in white near the upper fairing, the glare makes the text impossible to read, which is why I highlighted it with my curser).

May I suggest you get a motogp video pass and start watching races from 2006 and older.

Haha constructive criticism is more than welcome. I'll sort the formatting eventually, it's still a work in progress... As for the video pass, 50 euros seems rather steep for half a season pass! Is it really worth it?!

don't give Dorna a cent or you will regret it...

I,d say so FP 1,2&3 warm up and races live, Just link it to the telly or watch it where you are if you've got a laptop. I watch all fridays practice at work if I have to

I am no admirer of dorna's in general, nor of their commentary team, but particularly in terms of what it costs for entertainment in general , and what it costs for a cable subscription for instance which I mainly got to watch sport the video pass is a great bargain.

Of course its not worth it. Ur paying for something that should be free, plus when u hav the maddening experience of the inevitable vid glitch, it will drive civil peeps like michael to cuss. All Dorna hav done by charging is greatly reduce the advertising 'impressions' their sponsors pay good money to 'leverage' exposure. No, its not worth it, neither is crack & heroin, but if ur addicted like me, u will pay, as i cant miss a practice or race, and i need it live even if its at 3: fing AM. Plus u can access older seasons and classic races.

This is what sells it for me. Right now I'm watching CS kick the .... out of everyone from the begining of 07. That and not ending up on some spanish or crappy feed after I woke myself up at 5am on a Sunday.
