same old same here again........

its getting quite interesting, judging from Prezozi's comments, I'd say that quite a rift has developed within Ducati......Stoner's reaction is typically dumb, and no doubt he knows he will never have to prove his rather bold statements, everyone around the sport with any sense knows that Stoner would not be competitive on this years Duck either against the current competition, he has the luxury of last years few wins....but the 4th place behind his injured competition states the truth of the matter. This is not surprising as we know Stoner is good at not thinking before he speaks.......

Next year could bring about some surprises....I doubt Yamaha's 'roll over' for Honda will continue, and depending on who wins the argument at Ducati they could also be right there with Rossi......

What is clear is that Filippo is copping a lot of flack at present, no doubt bringing about knee-jerk statements like the ones recently.....they have failed to deliver a competitive machine for the past 3 years no matter who is riding it, it is clear who needs to change and where the source of the problems lie....in saying that the MSMA and Bridgestone are not helping one little bit.

Once again 'Equal vs Fair' it is clear the current regs are 'equal'......but as soon as you factor in differing Riding styles, differing engineering philosophy's, differing rider weights/heights and a lack of differing tyre construction (all of the things we used to love that made Motogp the spectacle it once was) its certainly not 'fair'

What an absolute load of horse ..... You have wrapped up bop of the year award by default with this crap. What exactly did Casey say that was typically dumb, something you dont agree with, like the truth. Saying the Ducati has not been competitive the last three years is 66% wrong . It was a race winning bike in 09-10, thats competitive. 2011, you are right, Rossi is not competitive. As far as i can tell, there is no new competition in 2011 that didnt exist in 2010 and Stoner won races against the Yamaha and the Honda on that so called uncompetitive bike.If its worse this year, thats Rossi and JB's fault. Maybe they should pull out the 2010 bike and see what they can do. For your coupe de grace, you played the "its equal but not fair' card. Your boy forced the current tire rules to suit him. Now, you percieve that same rule is working against him and its not fair, where the .... is that Chris Crocker video. Casey could take the Ducati and probably win at Qatar and Phillip Island, i would put money on it. Is there any other excuse you can possibly come up with in one post. Rossi has laid down, its visible. The bike scares him and he refuses to push it. That 1.3 seconds that Rossi is habitually behind, has been the difference between Stoner and every other rider who rode it while Casey was there. Someday, you may give Casey his due without any qualifiers attached, but i doubt it. Its just not in you to admit that newer talent has replaced your hero.

I think Stoner could take Karel's bike and win PI this year. Seriously.

yes, but it will be because of the advantage of the wings on the fairings

Is all you needed to say Pov

Yeah I guess the stars just aligned 9 times for Rossi...or is it true that he's the big bad wolf and won his titles through cheating, while the rest could only stand and watch from afar. You wanna talk about idiotic statements when you're possibly the biggest ...... on here
<
:WTF?

In a way the stars did align, or in fact didn't is perhaps a better description. ie. for so many years there was no real competition for Rossi. Many even stopped watching MGP. in 2006 things began to hot up in terms of injecting some real talent.

To me I thought Rossi's best years were 2008 and 09. Though now after seeing how Rossi fares on the Duc. those years even seem somewhat gifted. Or perhaps not gifted to Stoner.

Bad feelings between Preciosi and Rossi, soon the problems will become even bigger.

In the end one of them will have to go!

Who will it be, who decides?

Philip Morris who do not understand nothing?

The only reason for REPSOL to be in bike racing is to have a SPANISH world champion.

Pedrosa has bitterly disappointed, now they are waiting for Marquez.

So Pedrosa still may have ONE more year!

I was wondering if that was happening from the last thing I read that Stoner said about the situation at Duc. Sounded like he was rallying behind his old Ducati chums, so something must be up.

Welcome by the way.

In the future of MotoGP there will be teams like Red Bull in F1, i.e. the sponsors taking the management of the racing business away from the traditional manufacturers, some of whom could become just engine suppliers. Moto2 and Moto1 are preliminary steps in that direction. Rossi, in the last years of his career (2013-2016?), could start such a team with JB, assuming he can still attract a big sponsor.

I think its better we wait for you to cry yourself out Curvey, then maybe you can comprehend stuff,

You are aware tat that guy is the sheep and I am the righteous one .........

This is exactly what I suggested in MotoGP Future thread. I think it is a real possibility. I doubt JB will be involved though. The rest of the team yes but not JB. I think JB is dying to retire.
