I dont know where you all are from, but if you are planning on attending the USGP or Laguna Seca anytime for that matter I've been there a couple times and have some information so if you need anything let me know.
 
There really is nothing like it that I have ever seen. Watching it on TV you dont understand the magnitude of the drop, honestly they drop about 50 feet in a matter of a second or a second and a half. When you see it in person it is very intimidating. The track has so many cool aspects, other than the corkscrew the one thing about it that you don't really get a feel for on TV is the elevation changes, the whole back side of the track is a rise and a fall leading back to the front straight which has a rise and fall of its own. Its cool stuff.
