Top notch ride by Rossi - did what he had to do! The gloves are off. The second half of the season is going to be a cracker.
 
I greatly dislike rossi, but can't deny his talent as possibly the greates motogp rider of all time. hats off
 
that may have sealed mm's fate at Ducati, nicks fate for Ducati, AD's fate on a factory honda ride, kept CV in motogp, and spies ride for next year

Alot of those hard moves were by Stoner though, so he has no reason to be angry. He pushed to keep up and fell.

Still can't repeat this enough, BEST RACE of 2008! By far. Last week was a decent race. Qatar was okay. But Laguna Seca was out of this world.

The body language is not good is it. I feel sorry for his Misses
 
Valentino interviewed post race...says this race is up there with one of his best.
Stoner says he made a mistake but complaining about his sliding rear. He accused Rossi of racing dirty. He says if he'd done what Rossi did today he would have been penalised.
PAH!!!!!!!!!!!
I've always thought well of Stoner but this is losing me his respect.
 
I've read a lot of comments about Stoner's whining but never heard him myself to back this up until the BBC interview he just did. What about the old fairing bashing days. Welcome to real racing.
 
i think it was because of the corkscrew move.... there was nothing rossi could have done other than try and keep it on the track.

i think stoner thinks rossi tried to hard to psuh past where it was just a mistake by rossi

Looked like the bike was very unstable under brakes. That possibly more than anything else caused them to touch a few times. I don't think there is any problem with the racing. It was bloody good to watch.

Casey should be happy about what did happen there, as many riders would have no been able to do what Rossi did and would have taken each other out.
