Who just went down? Capirossi?

Damn shouldn't have got up
<

Nope Vermin. That's 2 for him and one for Capper. They'll be down on main street begging for quarters soon.

Verme and Hayden once masters of Laguna can't even crack the top 7 while Lorenzo
who has had less than 6 hours on the track runs in the top spot.

But tomorrow's race winner is still a third behind? Burgess has a late night ahead. Lorenzo/Stoner essentially the same time. No one else to challenge yet because it quickly goes to 1/2 then 3/4 second and up...

That's an interesting contemplation there. Either HoHay is that good or they really have the bike dialed in or both.

But yeah, in MOTOGP the bike is really starting make a huge difference.

Very true also quite sad, it takes away from the talent. Can't imagine it changing that much though.

This race will be a tough one for me, showing 5.am Monday morning.

You guys act as if it takes years and years to know a track. Come on, it only takes but a handful of laps to know a track...... as proof with Lorenzo's lap time.

there's learning a quick quali line then there's learning alternative race lines, where to pass where to defend ect, that takes years.

Add to that; a smooth surface helps the first timers a lot. It's so much easier to be fast on a smooth track compared to a bumpy track.

Turned the tables a bit from normal for me. Now it is mid afternoon usually it is early morning....very early.

I think the track is easier to learn and safer since Mazda spent some serious money moving things around. Most guys can learn a track fairly quickly at this level. Whether they like the track or not is huge and safety has been a big thing. I think like Hayden says the track is just one whole segment. You have to get everything right and there is no rest. No rest...bad for Stoner who needs it. He is baked already. I think everything they have done so far was on hard tires. I can't say for sure but I don't remember any white stripes.

Q is in half an hour....should be good. Suzuki has to put together a bike or two diminishing the overseas kit a bit.

lol why do you always asume its burgess that comes up with the solution? cant remeber what race it was..... but anyway you said burgess pulled a rabbit out of his ... lastime even tho it was valentino that come up with the solution.

so far this season i think lorenzo's crew have setup the bike better than burgess and co.

I am not taking away from Rossi's input whatsoever. JB is the head engineer so even if Rossi came up with a solution, since JB is the head of the department, he gets the credit. After Rossi's big win what did he say? Thankyou to Jeremy because without you blah blah blah....well you get the picture. Take JB out of the Yamaha pit and see what happens. He's the man.

TEAM WORK. Everybody in the team plays an important part.

exactly rog, im sure gsfan thinks that when everyone goes to rest burgess does a nightshift solo and does some kind of vodoo magic on rossi's bike.
