He still seems to loose 3-4 tenths there, pushing hard he decreases that to about 2 tenths. This was by far his slowest section last year too. I think he just has his own problems with that section and doesn't like it for some reason.
Another 2 bites the dust this session and Elias and Melandri both go down, unhurt though.

Only 6 laps and he looked very pale and beaten where he was sitting in the pit near the end of the session.

Looked like Stoner had disc shrouds on so it must be cool there today. He is probably happy with his setup and quickest so why waste his strength. I hope he lasts a bit in the race.

not good........ he'll probably start fast then fade....

I'm hoping Hayden does well, he's getting on better with his bike.

would be nice........ but the pessimist in me keeps on coming out... same with edwards.

He was saying the tech made a few clicks on the mouse and...flat motor gone. About bloody time eh?

Yeah I watched some earlier, there was commentary but it was very quiet and the picture wasn't that good, but it's better then nothing...........I can't wait for the race to start.

.... i only caught last few mins of WUP i hope stoner can go race distance... if he cant i hope he can open up a big enough gap in the early stages so he can salvage some decent points.

i aint up for watching a runaway championship

Couldn't agree more, we been getting some good close racing lately, I hope it continues all season.
They have got a three week break after this thou' that should give them time to recoup a bit.

yes true especially lorenzo he must be in some pain riding that bike around... he is a tough cookie and very brave i take my hat off to his determination.

Definitely, He's had some hard crashes over the last couple of seasons. Didn't he go on to one podium in a wheelchair?

Quick, call the CDC! Casey's case of Whine-itis is apparently highly contagious!

For the life of me, I don't understand the Stoner bashing that goes on. The guy tells it like he sees it and people leap at the chance to savage him.

Stoner didn't say 'the tires suck,' although it seems likely they are a little too cold for the conditions. If two or three slow corners cause them to cool to the point you are suddenly crashing, something is not right.

He didn't ..... at the slower riders, or imply that they were riding poorly. It's understood that there will always be riders on in and out laps, and you just have to ride around them, and avoid them altogether when on a hotlap.

From his and other's remarks, all riders are aware that going slow will cause the tire to cool to sub-optimal temperature. All Casey is saying is that he got slowed a little and found that the tires had lost more grip than he anticipated. Jorge said the same thing. Both seemed surprised that they wound up in their ear, but neither were whining or bitching about it.

Christ people, the only consistent whining I hear is people whining about Casey.
