Hey all,

Thinking of buying a Kawasaki Z 750. Test drove one and loved it to death but I have heard that Kawasaki's are not very realiable, especially in the area of electronics. Any truth to this? Anyone of you actually have this bike or a Kawasaki?

Thanks

That is news to me about the electronics. Post some pics when you get the bike

Will do, might be awhile yet, at 7000 + euros it's still a little expensive right now. But here is a shot from the website. Not really sure about the color though, I like the kawasaki green but it's not avalible in the new models.

i have always found kawasaki's very reliable

I ran a GT550 trike for a while and everything seemed bulletproof on it+anything electrical was always easily fixed on the kwak.

i've had 2 kwakers klx450r and a zx636 both were very realiable

a friend has a 2006 z1000 and its an animal you should try and get a test ride.. you wont want the 750 if you do

best of luck

I would love the z1000 but it's just to expensive, not anywhere near what I can aford. I know how much I would love it so I'm trying to avoid putting a leg over it cause then I may just not settle for anything else

Good to hear about the reliablity of the bikes, I had heard some nasty stories. One guy I know had his ninja in the shop for ages and said it was electronical...based on what you guys have said it might just be a con job.

most bikes that have electrical problems in my experience are because of diy wiring . another favourite is where people put things like fibreglass solo seat units and mount the reg-rec to fibreglass or plastic rather than metal where it can displace its heat better or they move it to a place where there is no air flow. be careful of non standard bikes !
