if the rumor is true.... if there is any manufacturer that would have the money to pay rossi or two rossi's (if they both existed and were both producing similar results); it would be kawasaki. now if they dont want to pay the a rider a certain amount of money or go over a certain limit in RACING is up to them. Kawasaki is Colossal. motorbikes and racing are just a form of advertising for them.

here is one link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawasaki_Heavy_Industries

The way I see it, after so much time without winning, even Rossi must be doubting himself, so no more more faith leaps like in 2004. He'll get the best he can for next season (like he did this year with the tyres) So IMO if he goes anywhere it will be Ducati (if they fix the mess they've done with this year's bike) or back to HRC Honda.

when rossi was at honda he didnt feel comfortable within the honda corporation,he didnt feel part of a team like he did with aprilia.all honda are intrested about is winning and they dont give a .... who rides the bike.for honda second place may as well be last, the japs are funny folk (no offence) they hate losing face to another make

yamaha opened their arms and welcomed rossi into the company along with the crewthat works with rossi.he did superb on the 04 05 machines then the 06 was crap for him.
with the lower cc now in operation everything changes in the design etc
yamaha will be thinking we have to keep valentino in yamaha for as long as poss

there has been the odd word about going to kwak and i wouldnt be suprised if he does but not till he wins the title again on the yamaha.

if he was to go to kwak and given the right package to take the title, then he would i think be the only rider to win the championship on 3 jap machines.

now that would be sumert to be proud of ?

Yamaha has done their part.Rossi demanded a commitment from Yamaha to give him a better bike this year.Yamaha has delivered. It is the best bike on the grid. Its time for Rossi to put up or shut up.He would be a fool to leave Yamaha for Kawasaki unless the only thing that matters in the twilight of his career is money.KHI can afford any amount they desire to pay but having an aging rider on a mediocre bike is not the answer.Rossi is still great but the edge is slipping before our eyes.I have seen him get stuffed more this year than the last 8 years combined. Not just passed, but stuffed. These kids are good and they dont give a rats ... about the aura of Valentino the Great. They are racing for fame,he allready has it,and that is the edge that seems to be missing. How many times over the years did we see Rossi will a 3rd place bike to a win.Now he settles for 3rd which will lead to fighting the 4th and 5th guys.
