John Hopkin takes year off

Sadly, this man's career has probably come to an end. A broken body has forced him to take a year off and heal up. Good luck to him. At least the sport didn't claim his life or worse.

i know its unlikely, but i would love for him to be given a good seat in 2014, either the suzuki in gp , or better, a good ride in wsbk.

hes a very good rider, he deserves it IMO,although i can see that other people would make a different point

Johnny boy will be back with a new hip and a rested mind and he will be a threat in any championship he enters,good luck Hopper.

i hope so, but i fear he will only get a good seat in either ama or bsb. in that case i'd prefer bsb because i follow that a little , but i would love to see him compete at an international level, at a race in germany preferrably

It is possible that he has been told to get himself 100% for zookis 2014 return to GP.

Has anyone heard anything more of zookis return next year?

Rumours were rife earlier in the season but nothing now.

However, it is the end of his top flight international level career......
