Yea was hoping the rain would come after Crutchlow's lap but it wasn't to be
<
I'm glad it didn't happen either, as much as I'd love to see him on top it gave us a cracking qualifying.

Then I hoped it would rain so Rossi could have done a little better. Seen and heard nothing of him for pretty much all the qualifying.

Rossi should hang his head in shame! Good to see Nicky putting in the hard yards and getting the results.

I'm a Stoner fan but I'm happy as a pig in .... to see Nicky up there ahead of him.

Awsome qualy session, initially it looked like a wash out but man Lorenzo and Pedrosa ehre on fire!

1 and 2 a sec up on 3, 4, and 5.

Awesome effort Nicky and I hope people start looking at the effort this guy is putting in, while everyone at Duc is worrying about Rossi. Gotta wonder tho, is the Duc really as much of a pig as people are saying. Hayden up on Stoner and Stoner looked like had nothing left. If its a wet race Hayden could be one to watch.

Great qualifying.

That's why so many people love the guy. No matter what - he gives it his best. I don't think he's got another championship in him - but on a Honda or Yamaha - he'd be consistently in the top 5. What to do? So much talent out there.

I know the race is a different story but its going to be interesting to see what Valentino comes up with, Ducati have moved heaven and earth to sort that bike for him.

His attitude is not that of a 9 time world champ or the GOAT.

I really hope Nicky goes well, he has been sitting in the background working hard. Good to see RDP up there as well.

I was thinking Cal might be a one shot wonder but man he's looking good as well.

Perspective: Just finished watching last year's Jerez race. We really are worst off without Sic. Damn!

Yea I hate watching races with no reckless out control riders that send the points leader to the hospital.

If thats what your into then dont lose hope. Theres always Bautista

I suspect Rossi is deliberately turning the wick down to make Ducati look worse in hopes of motivating Ducati to do a better job.

I would be really disappointed in VR if this was true.

Making himself look bad at the same time and that might not motivate Ducati to continue paying his price or accepting his demands for changes

Hayden 3rd

Rossi 13th

Can't blame the bike if your team mate puts it on the front row.

Especially when you're also behind a CRT bike as well.

Me too. But in light of Nicky's performance, Vale seems to be either unmotivated or dare I say it, in some kind of primadonna mode of late.

Hey Keshav it could be the other way round. Instead of Rossi not putting in maybe Ducati are the ones that are fed up.

Ducati are sick of Rossi criticizing their bike so make an ..... out of him and give Hayden all the good bits. To teach Vale a lesson.

Both scenarios are possible but I don't Rossi's ego would allow him to come 13th behind a CRT on purpose.

He won't finished the year at this rate.

That was one hell of a great qualifying. Lorenzo and Pedrosa were so damn fast, the circuit record is 1' 39.731 that belongs to Dani Pedrosa according to the Motogp website. 2 minutes till the end when Pedrosa hit the 39's I told myself: " with all the previous practice results, Pedrosa is really on it this time", then Lorenzo came with 1'39.5 and I was like " Holy ...." and I finally had the feeling that maybe This year is Jorge's year. Not because of a single qualifying result, The way he started so late and did those fast laps were pretty amazing. and By the way congratulations to all Nicky Hayden fans, Nice work by the Red Team and the Kentucky Kid. Hope to see the Ducati on top again.

Nicky is the new Stoner.

Stoner is the new Nicky ...... that Pedrosa, he's just using Stoner to test parts for him!
<
<

Rossi has accomplished complete Melandrimorphism.

Lorenzo has too many electronics, has better tyres, is on the fastest bike in the world, is boring and has no personality, can't battle ( why doesn't he wait for Stoner to catch him then we would see whats what!?), is so processional ......... is actually pretty good.

Lorenzo for the win tomorrow, he;s always been my favorite rider
<

Yes, but J4rno said he had solved the mystery, so I sarcastically said, well then, you should FB Rossi your eureka moment. Again, both factory riders hypothesized it was the behavior of the suspension favorably heating up the tire rather auspiciously. That power need be finessed in the rain is hardly an inscrutable issue.

Jum, Jum, will you ever stop twisting other people's posts to suit your inner monologue?
<

Rossi is doing it on purpose.

You've got to wonder...

If so, his behavior is grounds for instant termination. $20M a year should buy %100 dedication and effort.

Imagine if Hayden was 2.4 seconds back from Rossi...

What I take from qualifying... the Ducati isn't that bad. If Hayden is on the front row, it just isn't a bad bike.

Not saying its Yam or Honda. But if Hayden is on front row, surely Stoner would be too?

Basically but with zero results. Repsol has stoner testing parts, he has to make the recarnation of the midget mobile for pedders and marquezzz. Thats what they do with world champions at El Repsol. I am sure he is getting hella raging arm pump pist!! Their relationship will end beforer vr and ducati.

RDP is the ....! Ride of the weekend already.
