<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mylexicon @ Mar 11 2008, 06:29 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Dry:

1. Lorenzo
2. Pedrosa
3. Hayden

Wet:

1. Stoner
2. Edwards
3. Rossi

Hayden is the fastest man in the world at Jerez, but he has still never beaten Pedrosa at home. Last year Jerez was a Michelin sweep and Michelin appear to be a bit better this year than last. I don't think the B-stones are going to be up to the challenge, I think Rossi is mid-pack again.

I would love to see Hayden win this race and stick it to Pedrosa at home but lets get real, he's riding a Repsol in Jerez with Pedrosa as his team mate. He'll be lucky is his crew's tools don't go missing the day of the race.

This may actually help Hayden. Then his crew can't sabatogue his setup. He may actually go better with very little setup. However after reading the article from Stoner, Honda likes to play with its riders. I definitely think that Pedrosa will come out ahead on this one.

Also, the break after the first race is too long. The season needs to start off with a bang, back to back to back araces would be good. No wonder why fans drift in and out, thats pretty much how the season goes too. A 3 week break after the first race will leave a lot of new time fans looking elsewhere. Anybody else have any opinions on that?

Mixture of heart and head.

1. Rossi (He was very fast on race tyres here at the test)
2. JT (second quickest on race tyres for most of the test)
3. Lorenzo (because it's Spain)

Although I do feel like I'm forgetting someone.
<

i almost agree fleg but for me

1. rossi (if tyres hold out)
2. lorenzo
3. JT
4. stoner
5. dani
6. dovi
7. hayden
8. edwards
9. capirex
10. melandri or RDP

I agree. The point of GP is for each race to be its own stand alone international event. These events just happen to be linked in an international series.

But they've already jammed the calendar with 18 GP's so they may as well keep the fan base engaged with more frequent events.

Don't forget they have that non-competition agreement with F1. Running frequent back to back events is not possible under this agreement.

Weed kills memory brain cells Berry.

Now I know why you like "Stoner" so much.

Since this is the official Hereth (Jerez) thread, here are my predictions:

1. Dani "someone teach me how to smile and have fun" Pedrosa
2. Jorge "has a oral fixation" Lorenzo
3. Casey "I can't get no respect" Stoner
4. Valentino "taking a chance on new tires" Rossi
5. James "the renaissance man" Toseland
6. Andrea "my first name is spelled like a chicks, in English" Dovisioso
7. Nicky "wishing I had a 2006 season" Hayden
8. Collin "still needs a win in GP" Edwards
9. Randy "will I have a 0 crash season?" DePuniet
10. Loris "the developer" Capirossi

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (SackWack @ Mar 11 2008, 05:37 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I'd have to agree with you on some points. If JT had a little quicker bike where would we see him at Qatar. Jerez is a much more demanding track I think so lets see how he goes there.
Stoner and Rossi won't have much use of the extra power but as you say Jerez is demanding. Will be interesting to see both JT and Dovi there. BTW Does SBK race Jerez?
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE <div class='quotemain'>His pass on Hohay was not too gentleman like, it was freaking savage. In the interview he said he doesn't knwo the riders yet so he didn't know that Lorenzo was going to do that. Hmmmm, you mean turn the bike in the corner. Guess I didn't see it right...

What I saw was his front lifting the moment he flipped over and thereby moving almost half a metre out from the next turn. Small mistake that surly points back to lack of experience on a lighter more powerful bike.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Babelfish @ Mar 18 2008, 06:30 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>BTW Does SBK race Jerez

No, WSBK does not race at Jerez, they race at Valencia in Spain.

I'm backing Casey to win for no other reason than ...

I went out to lunch today and where did they seat us ... at table 27!

I keep thinking I should go to the casino to play roulette. Betting on 27RED seems like it could give me a decent return!

yeah ok ..... now I'm pretty sick of Rossi fans....

your favourite riders can't beat this guy so you come out with crap like that ..... I'd love to see a public race between pricks like you and Pedrosa. With one arm tied behind his back, one eye closed and one leg imobilised, he'd still whoop your ....

You don't have to respect the guy, no gain in pricks like you respecting you, but it'd be nice to have a world with less BS and wanking.

you are a deadset ...... mate!!

you are a deadset ...... mate!!That must be the greatest post I've ever seen, almost Harold Pinteresque in it's multilayered texture. It has truth, it has irony, & it has hypocrisy
<
I've emboldened the sections of truth.

If the guy enjoys watching people hurt themselves perhaps he should .... off back to watching ......., with the rest of the 12 year olds?
