I think it is a michelin track, and that toseland won't beat stoner with the valve spring motor. That said, I would give him the pneumatic engine for jerez if I were yamaha.

Dry:

1. Lorenzo
2. Pedrosa
3. Hayden

Wet:

1. Stoner
2. Edwards
3. Rossi

Hayden is the fastest man in the world at Jerez, but he has still never beaten Pedrosa at home. Last year Jerez was a Michelin sweep and Michelin appear to be a bit better this year than last. I don't think the B-stones are going to be up to the challenge, I think Rossi is mid-pack again.

I would love to see Hayden win this race and stick it to Pedrosa at home but lets get real, he's riding a Repsol in Jerez with Pedrosa as his team mate. He'll be lucky is his crew's tools don't go missing the day of the race.

1. Hayden (if not him then Rossi will win)
2. Lorenzo
3. Toesland

Pedrosa takes out Stoner in a fit of rage.

I say that he gets both Lorenzo and Stoner in one fell swoop.

1.Rossi- Needs a win to boost his confidence after bad 07 season.
2.Lorenzo- Real contender for 08 champion'
3.Hayden- Have faith in Nicky quality rider.

Nicky will get there if the bike is right without a doubt bud.

Let's see.. let me unwrap my crystal ball

What?! I don't see Stoner on the podium! How come? Can't see well...
<

I see:

1 - Lorenzo
2 - Pedrosa
3 - Rossi

A fiery duel for the 1st position will be the beginning of a legendary Spanish rivalry, the Hispanic Gladiator vs the Little Wizard.

Can't wait again ......

Let me work out my predictions:

looking from last results

Stoner ..... Jerez Challenged/cursed, not Spanish, on Bridgestones

Lorenzo .... Spanish, has a lot to prove, loves to beat old guys, wants to breal the "no victory panto" in style.. Michelin

Pedrosa ..... Spanish, not as injured as he was, Michelin, has a winning history there. May have pneumo valves,

Dovi ..... Out to prove Qatar was no fluke and in fact was just a start. Has Michelins, Not Spanish

Rossi ..... Good history at Jerez, but on Michelins, now runs Bridgestone qualies in race
<
<
, Needs a Victory and if anywhere it will be out of Jerez or Mugello, Not Spanish but brings crowd bigger tha Spain anyway.

Toseland ..... Michelins, went great in corners at Qatar, Not Spanish, Probably can't even sing in Spanish?

Edwards .... did he!!?? Phew! Not Spanish, but may have Spanish relatives. Michelin

Capi ........ Not Spanish, Bultacos used to come in a blue like the Suzuki GP bikes!!

De Puniet ..... who knows he's from near Spain, depends on the water in Spain.

Hayden ...... Not Spanish, but hired by a Spanish co.?? .... we may see anything up to a 5th from this guy!! ... but he will Qual higher than he races!

The Rest ...... Not Spanish .... and even if they were the Spanish would possibly even disown them, their bikes will make noise, they will appear on the grid, the grid will look bigger, that old saying applies "if it rains in Spain then maybe West and Vermy will be in the Main".

So my picks:

Lorenzo then Pedrosa ( or Casey if he breaks the curse )

no Pedrosa then Lorenzo ( ditto )

no .... toss a coin ( unless Casey breaks the Curse )

Toseland or Dovi or Dovi or Toseland or Pedrosa or Lorenzo ..... unless Casey breaks the curse
