He's been purging everyday for the last three weeks so he's sick as hell, but still fun to watch.

Congrats to the glory hounds marking the middle and back of the pack. They put on quite a show.

To bad we didn't see more of them. I bet it was lots of fighting we missed.

stoner made exactly the same mistake as rossi did at qatar and ended up with the same problem, give the tyres to much stick when they arent upto temps, rossi learned from his mistake and i think if he hadnt of screwed his tyres at qatar then he would be leading the champioship now.

not the best of batlles but good race.

YAi Dani wins!!!

Seems Rossi is sorting out his Bstone setup.

Dunno why Dani and Hayden were so critical about the 2008 bike, seems a rocket!

Lorenzo's face after the race was priceless! So bitter!

Casey's worst race since he joined Ducati? AFAIK it is.

Now I have to watch this greasy plebeian they call the king of Spain get on his egotistical moral soapbox and make Pedrosa and Lorenzo shake hands.

Ugh. Get an olive branch, a white dove, and a guitar and sing kumbaya in falsetto around a campfire you Iberian castrati.

the king of spain taking lorenzos and danis hand and making them shake was priceless
<
look to me like the king is a real motogp fan
<

Stoner should have settled for position like he did last year; he really only had the pace to finish 5th at best without any mistakes. I don't think his second lose was so bad, as it probably only cost him 2 points, whereas if he had got past he might have got up into the mix for 5th. Ducati seem to have gone backwards in general ; he was closer to the pace of the front four last year, and the other ducatis were closer in pace to him.

Pedrosa looks really threatening for the title, but rossi is sitting well after 2 "michelin" tracks.

What was priceless was how they respectfullly only shaked his hand while Rossi started chatting and clapped the kings shoulder with the disaproving look of Dani from the side.

I take my hat off to Dani,no guts no glory, well done son!JT ,what a fighter.Dovi!!!!The man has what it takes and Nicky snapping at the heels too.......Great days racing for me personally.

Rossi knows a pleb in a suit when he sees one. How many royal/political slime balls have tried to leech off of Rossi's media presence over the years? He's used to it. The best way to make sure they leave you alone is to treat them like children.

Rossi should have given the king a noogie.

Before I go off looking like a sore loser

(too late?)

I need to congratulate Pedrosa on a great ride. He cleared off and rode nearly flawlessly the whole way. Nobody gives him any credit, but he brought the goods this weekend.

A agree with you there and I don't think the tires going off were the problem. He complained about the front end all through the weekend. No stability under braking and the bike was tipping in to fast into the corners. That's what took him into the gravel the first time. The second time I suspect he was taken by surprice when Nakano tiped into the corner very early, blocking stoners path under full braking. You could see his disaproval looking after them when he went into the gravel.

1. Dani Pedrosa - His Programmer must be so Proud of him!
2. Valentino Rossi - Minor Miracle considering Bridgestone suck at Jerez
3. Jorge Lorenzo - Patience my young Paduan, Patience!
4. Nicky Hayden - Luckiest rider of the day!
5. Loris Capirossi - Old Dogs has something of good day.
6. James Toseland - Ride of the day in my view!
7. John Hopkins - Healthier and better, but not 100%....still say he should have stayed on suzuki
8. Andrea Dovizioso - Ride like you did today over the next 2 races and you'll get the Repsol contract by Mugello.
9. Shinya Nakano - Should be doing better
10. Chris Vermeulen - Dissapointing to see him struggle so much
11. Casey Stoner - Second luckiest rider of the day!
12. Marco Melandri - Probably feels better about where finished in relation to Casey
13. Anthony West - Good ride from Him!
14. Alex de Angelis - The go faster stripped helmet is clearly not working
15. Toni Elias - Keep this up son and you will be unemployed come end of season.
16. Sylvain Guintoli - Maybe he still thinks this is an endurance racing series....

Did they change the clocks back or something?

Yeah, I almost lost the race 'cause of this.

Luckily I gone try to watch 250cc and got the whole motogp race just in time.

Motogp's site is a ....... joker!
<

Bad Stoner, go wash your butt! you should kept quiet in 5th! Ducati got humiliated in Jerez today, all four bikes fighting with "Cardosos".
<

With or without Stoner, motogp is still boring, it is not his fault. Every race will be a rider pulling out ahead. Formula 1 got more funny than motogp for the very 1st time in years.

Next race is honda bounded too, looks like Stoner will keep out from championship lead for a long time...Stoner is now probably yearning Turquia missing track.
<

Although the race for the lead was 'boring', it was nice to see a director with sense showing the midfield action.

Stoner (in tribute to pinky) - LOOOOOOOLZ.

Dani- Impressive ride today, never in trouble.

Rossi- did well to get a 'stone podium at a mich track.

Jorge- a letdown from his practice form. It just shows only the racing matters at the end of the day.

JT- of course my rider of the day. Been terribly ill all weekend, and to have the courage to pull off the passes he did was impressive.

Nicky- slowly getting on pace again, but needs that small bit extra. Nice to see his save.

If Estoril is anything like last year then....

Yeah, that was simply hilarious!!!

Strong ride from Pedrosa. He wasn't in danger one moment in the race. Great to see him leading the standings!! I was also very very pleased to see Rossi finish 2nd, that was really the best result he could get today. After 5 races no podium, he's back!! Good to see he did well on the Bridgestones!! Now he's 3rd in the standings, and he must have been happy to beat Jorge today.

Stoner wasn't ''on top'' all weekend. I did think he would do well today, but I was wrong, which is ok, because now it's more exciting in the standings. He'll do better next time!!

Good rides also from, Nicky, Capirossi and Toseland
<

Bring on Estoril!!!
<

Dani was supreme today, the next three riders all put in fairly standard performances. Capirossi and Toseland did excellently and should both be pretty pleased. Stoner should be disappointed with himself, he even said he'd settle for points.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (crazy xaus 11 @ Mar 30 2008, 04:06 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>did you see Jorge's save entering the backstraight??the front just rocketed..
Yeah, that was fun
<

Also Hayden stayed on his bike, it seemed he almost fell off at some point!!
