Holy FK!!! I wonder whether the 250's are a sign of things to come! Crazy move by Simoncelli on Bautista!

What I don't get is why Simoncelli would want Bautista to pass him so close to the finish. Can anyone help me understand?

yeah im wondering the same, they crashed out and gave eachother a hug you wont see that stuff going on in motogp lol, thats good sportmanship i cant imagine that happening toward the end of the 250 season tho if it happend....

im a bit worried about the race i think we may see some crashouts, the track is looking very slippery today.

Temperature is lower than in previous days so it might have caught some teams by surprise, still Simoncelli's crash had nothing to do with that, he was simply far too close all race long, and not in control.

It looked like that but I'm pretty sure he lost focus when looking behind and simply missed his braking point. He had huge trouble passing Bautista becouse the lack of power so there is no way he wanted Bautista in front of him.

Did any of you see how Kallio were backing it into the last corner. Superb

Well, half of the race were completed with every lap under the previous lap record so I don't know.
But the colder temperature might take some by surprice regarding their tire coise on Friday.

Damn, I knew there was going to be a hard crash that caused an unlikely winner, but I got the participants wrong.

I even knew an orange and black bike was going to win this weekend.
<
Why Kallio?

I wanted it to be Pedrosa and Lorenzo so Hayden could be the recipient of a surprise win

It sure does and if they put on tires according to the wether at 250 they might be up for a surprice.
It's only 21 deg in the ground but it has been cloudy up to now but now the sun is out so expect that ground temperature to raise to atleast 30 during the race.

I hate you Ezy.

Yeah, it took a brainfart to create even the slightest excitemnt among the top 3.
Rossi waving to the spectators as he passed for the lest lap lost all his lead to Lorenzo

Good rides by the top 4 - although it was fairly processional. Obviously Stoner's TC works well in the dirt.
<
<

Edwards - give it away old man!

1. Dani at his robotic best.
2. Rossi at his maximum.
3. George, fairly disappointing given his supreme pace throughout the weekend.
4. Stoner, looked like he pushed too hard too soon and it cost him a shitload. Melandri must have thought he was at the front for a split second.

Fantastic riding by Pedrosa, but out of all the top runners I guess that's the one Rossi would hate the least to be beaten by. He did a full race distance on the stones and showed good speed at the end of the race. Most important he beat Lorenzo. Second, he was by far the fastetst Bridgestone rider. Lorenzo just discovered how hard it is in the top class but probably qute satisfied after all.
Hayden are probably also quite satisfied. At least there were no customer bikes ahead of him and he held the pace of Lorenzo almost to the end.

I should have stayed in bed this morning. Worst motogp race since Laguna last year.

Rossi was so bored he started celebrating early.

Hayden choked. Missed his lines for the first 5 laps then made back to back mistakes into turn 1 after being the fastest man on the circuit. Obviously he had some setup issues, but he could have had a podium. Stoner choked. Lorenzo choked. Edwards choked.

The only bright spot was Toseland bashing his way through the grid.
<
He's been purging everyday for the last three weeks so he's sick as hell, but still fun to watch.

Congrats to the glory hounds marking the middle and back of the pack. They put on quite a show.

bit of a procession this race imo.
dani was fautless
rossi was the only one who could get the stones to work, bet bridgestone are glad they signed him now.
lorenze didnt do much other than follow rossi.
nice to see haystack at the sharp end. casey let the stress get to him . funny when rossi thought the race was over with a lap to go, anyone remember krjr

wtf up with marco ?

WTF I just woke up to watch the race and it's already over. MotoGP.com said it was at 9 am my time.
Did they change the clocks back or something?
