Not sure if Bulega cut a corner or if Ducati were running an illegal tune or what. He's a second clear of the field, including finishing over a second ahead of Bradl who was on a MotoGP bike. Not saying it's impossible, but the timing seems a little strange. Bulega doesn't have sector times for 2 and 3 listed on this fast lap. Seems a little off.

Toprak looking good. Rea looking smart. Bautista looking smart. Locatelli still can't wrap his head around Jerez, I guess. Lowes looking strong. Bassani on shaky ground.

Bulega still on top. Rea where I expected. Redding making a good show. Alex Lowes has come back down to earth. Van der Mark is the slowest BMW, a bit surprising. Bautista and Rinaldi surprisingly slow.

Vierge and Lecuona sound defeated. Could be kabuki, but they claim to have thrown every available part and setting at the bike without any luck. HRC homologated a new model, and they have superconcessions, but they are still languishing outside of the points.

Sad, but I wouldnt be surprised if HRC are prioritising MGP again.
