Hey,

Its that time of year again for one of the worlds most dangerous sports.

As reported in another thread, During last Mondays practice Irish Rider Seamus Green is still in a critical condition, involving a collision on the Ballahutchin straight with 38 year old Japanese rider Jun Maeda.

It has been reported sadly today that Jun's life has been claimed by the course.

Jun has been riding the TT since 1997.

I give my thoughts to him.

Thoughts and prayers with them and their families as well as every rider at the IOM.

I`ve ranted enough about this race, I`m just gonna say my deepest sympaties to any riders and their families who`s lives are ruined by the TT

the t.t is the most famous of road races, and yes its a sad time when riders meet their end in this way but these brave blokes know the risks when they set off for the I O M.their families will be sad at the loss but im sure that most would agree that their loved ones died doing something they loved

the rewards are there and so are the risks.every year we read of tragic events at the I O M but its up to the individual to take part,i was talkin to shane byrne and he said that its a scary place to ride and that was just a parade ride for the fans

R I P to all that meet their end at I O M

ive got a different spin on it, we tell young kids on bikes not to race like a lunatic on bikes on roads then show adults races on tt roads like idiots and lose their lives, weird..

Hey,

On a lighter note.

John McGuinness took his 2nd win at the TT by taking todays Supersport race.

I love watching the IOM. Would never want to race it except in a PC game.

Perfect logic. Stupid race.

No reward or amount of fame or money or whatever is worth that loss of life. I do respect the racers, but I`m not going to condone the race in any way. I`m all for making the TT another chapter in motorcycle history.
