For fans, for teams & for riders?

I'm undecided, it ceratinly gives team a chance to evaluate the season so far and gives them more development time, it gives the riders a chance to chill and compose themseleves....................but its a long wait for us guys!!!

Although the anticipation is there for sure

Here's my take:

for the team: agreed. good time to see where they are at and evaluate whats going on and regroup. Also, these teams work hard and im sure they appreciate the rest they've earned.

for the rider: Good and Bad.
good: rest. time back home, time to reflect and regroup.
bad: once you get a good rythm going and a break comes around, it can screw that all up and your momentum goes down the toilet. On a good note if your momentum is bad, this can bring you a fresh start upon return.

fans: Good and Bad:
the bad is obvious, no racing for a month sucks!
the good is that because of this, once it comes back on its like a huge big deal again and it means that much more!

team-well for the team it is mostly good. they have time to figure out any problems with the bike reflect on the season so far and figure out the game plan for the rest of the season.

rider-the riders get a lot of rest. heal their battle wounds and in the case of gibbers id say go see a shrink from all the mind games hes been put through from rossi

and for the fans, personally i think that breaks are good. all the more anticipation for the next race, but a whole month, that is a little too much. If they could cut it down to some thing like 2 weeks. and maybe have a week or 2 break more often.

To fuel my need for racing, i find myself watching numerous full race videos and dive into the archives for other goodies on motogp.com.

this is still going to be painful

For the Teams and riders its gotta be good. Time to think, re-evaluate and re-group themselves, although if your a rider which has just started to find some form before the break, i can see how this time would be frustrating.

For us? IT SUCKS!!! at least we get really excited when they come back tho

For the teams it's good, they have a month to evaluate what has been done and look at data for the upcoming rounds and begin communications with the factories to get what is necessary for the next races which usually brings trick parks at the return from the break.

For the riders it's good, even if you're hot you keep that confidence over break because in all you're training you have that good feeling. You can't lose that good feeling until you get beat so it just keeps building.

For the fans it's good, we sit here and speculate who is going to have a superb second half and we get to play the "Who's going where" games and speculate on riders and bikes and who is going to be fast. It's all a fun time leading up to Brno.

not for us but i think it is good 4 them to get a break for a few weeks !

not good for us tho

rossi biggest biggest biggest biggest fan

I think it is great for everone but the fans. It may ruin some of the momentum from someone like Sete or maybe even Nicky but it will give everyone to decompress, relax and heal. Every one of the front runners has been on the ground at some point in the past few races and practices...I think except for Edwards...

so my take is for:
Teams:Good
Fans:Bad
