Ok, now that I'm back, I have some time to post a few more pics, which I'll do as long as I don't wear out the welcome.
Of course the event was very interesting, and I took about 1000 pictures, but I'll post the ones I think are most interesting. Here are a few:
I saw this guy coming out of Ducati Island. I don't know what to make of it, but of course I immediately thought...PINKY, IS THAT YOU? (No lie, I actually asked the guys, hey, are you pinky? He looked at me with a very confused look. I figured that was confirmation enough).

And going along with the theme, I think Pinks would have loved this picture. This was taken at practice. Yes, practice. Was Rossi perhaps thinking of a race tactic? Haha, its amazing the .... you get to see on the ground. Geez, any closer and I think Rossi could have looked for Hemorrhoids up that ...!

Well we got to see 125s race, which was cool. I took this pic during qual. Jesus H Christ, it looked more like a race. ...., Laguna Seca would be the perfect track for these lower classes.

I was bummed out that the 250s were cancelled. I think it would have been great considering the last race drama at Misano. I'm sure a bit of payback was in the works. Plus I got to see that clown haired Italian Simonchello (or how ever you spell it) out on the streets of down town. Does anybody realize how tall this ....... toothpick of a rider is? Or was it a foot of hair that made him look tall. This was taken during practice. I think they forgot to tell them to chill out, or maybe they already knew this would be the only time they would get to race eachother.

Ok, here is one for Curve. I think Spies is looking back and wondering were are his teammates. Or maybe looking for Pedrosa to let him know he would be hounding him during the race to make a point about how to handle those black round things on the wheels.

I'd say, some of the best racing we have seen has come from the Red Bull Rookies Cup. Seeing them ride, is like looking at a bunch of killer bees, all trying to get first blood.

Hayden Gillim, Nicky's cousin, led the pack for a while, then dropped back to second, then passed again for the lead, then again to third, and battled back to second, then crashed out only a couple laps from the finish. But this kid is for real. What is it about the water in Kentucky, they really know how to make those boys fast. (Its cool he dawns the #69, in honor of Nicky and Mr. Hayden.

Ok, I hung around the Ducati Island for a while. Of course, they have two fashion shows a day. I don't really like to miss those as you can see. But here is a little taste. I think I see nipple and some morning due below. (And check out the face of that kid in the back ground...haha)
