Too bad Dani and Rossi crashed could have been an interesting race. I didn't quite understand why Rossi retired he could've grabed some points just hanging on there last, Dani salvaged 6 points.

Congrats to De Angelis! Great ride!

Also good job by Nicky.
they said he damaged his throttle so was unable to accelerate.

BS!

After the race, Burgess said they couldn't find anything wrong with the bike. It's clear to all but you Boppers that the unexpected crash left Rossi a mental wreck, too terrified to give it any gas! What a ....... .....!

Stop being unreasonable. It's obvious that Rossi threw the race at the request of Dorna. He tried so hard to tuck the front that he ended up bunny-hopping off of track. Burgess' remarks about the bikes condition post race only confirm the inevitable.

I'm sorry but this sport is somewhat fixed. The major manufacturers have divided up the calendar and each one gets to decide which compound is used at certain venues. Why? b/c Bridgestone couldn't deliver tires for $400 a set, and B-stone certainly couldn't use dual compound tires. The manufacturers picked up the tab, but they didn't do it for nothing.

YEah they did show it but the tech didn't look like HE had any problems twisting the thing. Rossi pussed out cause he couldn't win so he decided to Bin. LOL.

im pretty pleased hayboy got a result today because i know jumkie and his gang will party hard tonight now and they deserve that.

dani and the doctor caught out by the very narrow race line here. personally i think there needs to be a fair bit of surface work done here. Anyone else notice the riders pumping there front brakes hard as they lined up after the sighting lap. i assume this is because of the bumps in the track shaking the pads back and they want full response for the first corner. there is also a lot of surfaces changes here.

every thing to fight for now
<

This track needs a serious repaving before next year. 4 different surfaces on one track is not right.

I don't know about what Rossi was or wasn't able to do. But we have seen the man, This year, pick up the bike and ride for points. Why would today be any different?

I am Glad that Jorge clawed back another 25pts. It will be a race down to the wired for the Championship. Good on Jorge. It is a shame about Pedrosa. I wanted to see him fight tooth and nail with Rossi or Lorenzo...

Makes me sick, affirmative action. But this may be the case. I keep hearing during race broadcasts
that its in Dorna's best interest to keep a British rider in the series, regardless if he can ride the 800.
IMHO, that is Bullsh$t of the highest order, over stepping better pilots for ratings. Name of the game.

After watching the race, I was jumping up and down for Nicky, but after I settled down, I thought about it and....I came to the conclusion that WSBK is more exciting at this point. 2x the entries, 2x the races per wkd, and more often than not, guarenteed 3-5 guys swapping spots for the lead. Where WSBK lacks is in the prestige dept. The build up and 'feel' is a bit of a step down. So what.

If Motogp could increase the field depth, and tighten the field, that would trump WSBK.

I'm so much looking forward to the Moto2 class, and hopefully some USA blood mixed in the top group.

Thanks for the laugh! I really need it today.

well.... an interesting result to say the least. great ride by jorge, deangelis & of course nicky well done fellas! but this track, as already mentioned, needs to be resurfaced... at least the f1 part to the newer part added for the bikes. everyone seemed to be riding quite tentitively & if they pushed or went off line it produced crashs. the 250s & 125s were the same. it's not the most exciting track anyhow & i'd say the worst of all the circuits visited through the season. it is however the best rovol in the states.
<
well i wanted rossi to throw a chain down the track not himself so the championship would tighten up... i sorta got my wish
<
a shame pedrosa fell cause i think he would have won...... on to misano!

Well no offence to the brits but I guess those in power like having a brit who isn't very good in the GP series. Guess that says alot about those in power over there. You would think they would want him to go to SBK and whooop it up like he has easily in the past.

people in our stand cheered when Pedrosa crashed...then they started to applaud when he stayed in and started to pick off people at the back of the pack....

here is the pass for the lead...

then, when Jorge won, he stopped right underneath us, had a corner worked hold his bike and he climbed the fence. It was pretty cool. then he got a Captain America shield a few corners down, strapped it to his arm and finished the lap with it before it blew off on the backside of the track. here is Jorge climbing the fence....

no offence to hayden, not sure why the .... motogp.com has hayden on the front page like hes won something. rossi crashed, pedrosa crashed, and stoner didnt start. at best hayden could of gotten was a 7th. talk about token americansm.

According to my calculations that would be 6th.

eitherway, thats at best considered a midpack finish.

where is all the hoopla about deangelis' efforts???
