Yeah, I just check the extended forecast on Yahoo. It calls for rain on Sunday. So what does this mean for predictions?

Wet or dry:

1. Hayden
2. How cares.

Depuniet, down in 13th lap. (He will start tentative, still fresh in his mind the first lap crash will keep him playing it safe, but once he starts getting confident, he will push the front end and go down).

Dry:
1. Rossi
2. Stoner
3. Lorenzo

Wet:
1. Rossi
2. Stoner
3. Vermeulen

If Lorenzo finishes in front of Pedrosa, it would be the final insult to HRC
<

Hayden to win
Vermuelen to get another podium
De Puniet to stay on and get a top 10 finish

But that's my prediction for every race.
<

Dry

1. Stoner
2. Rossi
3. Lorenzo

Wet

1. Rossi
2. Vermulen
3. Hayden

...Or maybe De Puniet will lead the whole race, only to fall off on the final corner of the last lap!!

i have no idea.

i reckon hayden may do well because he will want to make up for not winning laguna and he has done a few laps here.

pedrosa is riding the pneumatic on bridgestones my prediction:

dry:
1pedrosa
2 rossi
3 stoner
4 lorenzo
5 hayden

wet:
1 pedrosa
2 stoner
3 rossi
4 vemuleun

stoner and rossi have been in another league due to michelin being riubbish, but i think with pedrosa on bridgestones and michelin working better i expect pedrobot and lolli pop to join the guys up front, pedr should help rossi by slowing stoner at start presuming dani doesnt disapear, then rossi will eat them all up if its dry and win

oh yeah and depuniet to crash on lap 8 due to front wheel wash out lol

1) Stoner
2) Rossi
3) Pedrosa

Michelin riders suffer from new surface destroying tires over race distance....

What does rain mean?

It means don't ever race at Indy in September! I had the displeasure of attending F1 at Indy in 2004
<

If you schedule at Indy in September you get what you deserve.

Stoners thumb may prove to be a huge problem. I wouldn't count him out in the rain though and new surfaces have favoured the Bridgestones so...

Wet:
Stoner
Vermuelen
Rossi

Dry:
Rossi
Stoner
Lorenzo

Wild ... guess but I'm glad I didn't roll out a bunch of cash to sit in the rain all weekend!!!

Wonder if michelin riders can manage to get top 5 and what lap De Puniet chrash again? lap 5..but this time he manage to continue again..

Dry:
1)Rossi
2)Stoner
3)Pedrosa

Wet:
1)Stoner(if he keeps his bike upright for whole race)
2)Rossi
3)Vermuelen

There might be surprise michelin rider on the poduim in dry conditon but in wet condition bstones have alot bigger advantage over michelins so i don't think so michelin riders got any chance in wet conditons and abviously Rossi will drive carefully in wet conditions and if he can get 2nd he will be more than happy with that result and we all know that CS is very good in rain so if he don't crash he will win the race by few seconds.

All that oil bleeding out of the newly paved surface maybe?

Yup, "aluminum" curbing and rain, along with a new/green track....

Michelins will get shredded by the new surfaces on the bike track....just like they were being destroyed for the F1 race at indy a few years ago (hence the boycott after the parade lap)....

And Michelin testing with a Fireblade by a couple of test riders will not be a great advance vs a GP bike being ridden by a Full time GP rider full race pace....

Think about how much data Canepa would have gotten for Ducati and Bridgestones during their test at Indy recently.....Not to mention the other Bridgestone shod riders in that test on GP bikes...
