forget fixing it, just remove it and replace it with another track in the US. there are plenty of them.
other than Laguna and Miller....what tracks are MotoGP capable??

Barber, Road America, and to be honest...Daytona
Are you well?
None of those places are remotely up to FIM standards. Not saying I wouldn't enjoy seeing a MotoGP race at one of those venues.
No - quite possibly not...but thanks for your concern Lex.
You may be right, but I don't see Laguna being significantly safer than any of them.
And yes - Barber would be instantly approved by the FIM. It was pencilled in to host a round way back in '05. Indy eventually prevailed.
The Honda didn't look to solid in the hands of Dovi, 3 Yams after Pedders, M1 is still the bike to beat IMO.
Rossi dug deep, very impressive again after so many crashes, I vote for a removal of Indy from the calender until they sort the track-absolutely deadly, much better circuits around the world.
Gee Leno did you even want to be there. That was a lackluster flag wave. The ...... hasn't changed clothes since last month before Laguna. On top of that jeans and a jean shirt. Back in the 80's when that was in style it really wasn't in style.
The Ducati is still, as it always has been a steaming pile of ..... It that bike 2 feet longer than any other bike on the track, it's like watching an 18 wheeler do a u turn. I am in awe watching Stoner and Nicky actually finish in the top 10 on a bike that can't turn. When you actually get it to turn then you just hang on and pray your not going to washout. The 1st Ducati to cross the line was a second over the 1st suzuki.
You can't put this one on Nicky. He looked like he was wrestling a bull while everyone was blowing by him.
Jorge finally has his 1st or 2nd place streak come to an end and Valentino looks hapless once again.
Around here we call that a Canadian tuxedo.

Valentino Rossi: "MotoGP Is Very Boring, We Need Less Electronics"
Q: The top 10 in Brno was split by 40 seconds, and today the top 10 was covered by 51 seconds …
VR: 51! F!
Q: Not so much entertainment for the crowds, what's your feeling about this?
VR: So I think this is a big problem for MotoGP, because the races are very boring. We lose our best card, especially compared to Formula 1. Because until 2006, with Michelin and Bridgestone but with 1000 engine, less electronics, f, the races was unbelievable. A lot of people stay glued to the television, because you know that for sure MotoGP will be a great excitement. When Bridgestone arrived, 800 arrived, and this amount of electronics arrived, make this race very very boring, so is like sleeping like with Formula 1.
So I hope that they have in mind this. Not for next year, because for next year is the same, but for 2012, when they have to make new rules for the 1000, take out some electronics, take out some anti-wheelie, take out some anti-spin. The people want to see the bikes make wheelies, make slide. This is like the remote control, you know? So, the rider cannot make any more difference.
In the last lap, if you have 1.5 or 2 seconds, you remain with 1.5 or 2 seconds, maybe you gain 0.5, before you gain 0.5 in two laps, when you are in a good shape with a good setting. Now is like everybody the same, because all the acceleration, all the anti-wheelie is controlled from the bike. So I hope that to fix this problem that the 1000 bike, so is not enough just 1000. The problem is the electronics, so I hope they try to make less electronics with the 1000cc bikes.
