Motorcycle rider, 13, seriously injured at Indy By MICHAEL MAROT (AP) – 50 minutes ago

INDIANAPOLIS — MotoGP officials say rider Peter Lenz has sustained "traumatic injuries" after crashing during a warmup lap for a 250cc race at Indianapolis on Sunday.

After falling, Lenz, a 13-year-old rider from Vancouver, Wash., appeared to be run over by Xavier Zayat of Flushing, N.Y.

Medical workers placed Lenz in a neck brace, put him on a stretcher and appeared to be doing chest compressions. Series officials said Lenz had been transported to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis and that there would be updates on his condition later Sunday.

There was no immediate word on Zayat.

The crash briefly delayed the start of the 250 race. The 125cc race, scheduled for noon, started on time.

..... Best wishes for him that he recovers.

the good thing is, it's not easy to say who will win this time and anything can happen in top 5.

with 3 aliens coming from midd rows and at least 2 home riders capable of podiums, this race should have some overtakings and hopefully battles in it.

I think a podium for Rossi could be his best result, but that looks very unlikely. I look forward to battles between Spies and Horhay and Spies and Hayden for the home's best rider and Horhay with whoever is in front of him and Stoner and Pedrosa.
