Not much detail, but I guess the head of their motorsports club has confirmed they are actively seeking a round on the MotoGP calendar.

We'll see what happens. I guess Buddh is the only track in India suitable for FIM competition?

Let's hope not. It'll be a ....-show. Spent 10 years living and doing business there and another 15 years exporting from there. The pitfalls of what passes for infrastructure there are not be understated. Love the music, the food, and many aspects of their arts and culture; but MotoGp in India? Maybe in 80 years if Indian and Pakistan don't nuke each other into the stone-age.

After what I've seen on Instagram, I am convinced India has some of the baddest riders in the world. What we call stunt riding they call commuting to work! :bounce:
