Ok if Great Britain had another GP round, where would you like to have it?

For me it would be Brands Hatch- britains biking mecca cos of the natural bowl, great for spectating. They'd have to make some safety changes tho would'nt they!!!

Thats been my thought for many years Ron,I`d love to see mgp there cus like you say its great for the viewing public.I mean -can you imagine the rush people would get seeing 20 or so howling 4 strokes swooping down Paddock bend!!

I don't know if my opinion counts but I remember watching WSB race at Brands for a couple years and really enjoyed the track. I for one would like to see a second British GP held there.

I love watching the WSC races at Brands just to hear the crazy brit announcers say "Dingle Dell"

best name for a corner EVER!

About another US round, ive raced that Infineon raceway on Gran Turismo4, covered in concrete walls but really great layout- lots of elevation changes, something that turns me on in terms of circuits.

Yeah Infineon (Sears Point) is nice, however you said it Ron it is full of walls and is even smaller than Laguna Seca. It would be a bit of a bore to watch such big machines at a track so small.

I also think Oulton Park would make an amazing GP track. In an article MCN did a few years back rating all the british tracks, the one thing it said about oulton was "almost good enough to be a GP track". I think its big enough, it would just need loads of money poured into it to cut the run off areas back.

For you guys in the US (if youve never seen it) its a real 'natural track' with some ups and downs, on and off camber corners and an almost Assen characteristic about it. some of the straights just kink from one side to the other.

Im prob going to the BSB round there in Sept.

Sounds like a real riders track. The way you describe it it gives me a bit of a Road America feel. The way tracks are supposed to be, "when men were men..." etc.

Yes i have got a weird kind of romantic obsession with tracks like that.

Out of all these new tracks i only like Sepang and(on motogp3) Motegi. Even tho ive heard Motegi being described as 'soul-less' before. All that land and they make a giant go kart track for fxxks sake.

The old ones are great, character and history is what makes a track legendary.

You like Sepang? I like how big and fast it is but some or the corners are just weird, no flow to them at all. Of the new tracks wow I don't know, maybe Sepang is my favorite new track too. I don't know much about Doha, China or Turkey yet so I don't know. This is really just an uninformed ramble, I have wasted everyone's time. I'm sorry.

Thanks Ron, I'll check that out tonight as my connection at home is faster than here at work.
