How Herve could get a 1-2 in the championship next year...

Disclaimer: This is purely hypothetical and fun

So, we all know how Edwards rode well this year, but like a lunatic if he was behind Toseland (Le Mans and Donington are classic examples) so here's my theory of what Herve Ponchoral should do if he wants to get a 1-2 (ok, both riders in the top 6) next season.

He walks into CE garage, and tells him that Spies said over the winter that he is a ....., and he is going to whip his ... in 2010, also that he is poaching his chief engineer and will be having factory extras before him.
This way, if Spies goes as well as some are predicting, then Edwards will ride like the devil on acid to try and beat him, and both bikes will be easily in the top 6 for next year.

Tech3 for the championship anyone?

i think the tech3 might be a pile of poo next yr.
i can't see them doing great next yr
now there running in moto2 and motogp
i just can't see Herve bringing it all together.

maybe next yr tech3 might have two Different spec bikes.

Spies A.Spec
Edwards B.Spec

it might all depend on what yam want.with The Goat n Horney ££$$ Talks coming up again
they might want to keep all options open.

Somehow I don't think any such tactic will find Herb the 40 + seconds his guys need to get near the front in a race.

As Colin has indicated the top 4 guys are from a different planet, 40 seconds over a race distance is still hanging around on planet earth

I don't think spies will get 1st or 2nd in the championship next year, but he will be a lot closer to the front than 40 seconds.

His average finishing time was 31 seconds behind the leaders. Not close, but not the 40+ you suggested
