So rather than come in here complaining that people write too much because it hurts your poor, little eyes, why don't you go home and get Green Eggs and Ham off the shelf and start practicing.

Male virgin's must be your specialty. Curious.......

P.s. all i'm doing is swearing and Stating my opinion. So far my Opinions are as follows:

1) Austin's bike looks gay.
2) Austin might be "Bent" in terms of sexual preference.
3) Austin's bike, is indeed, ugly.
4) You fail.

Rider when you get older you may come to realise that insulting someone via a homophobic alluding to sexual preference marks you as being immature. The world is full of gay, straight, black, pink, and even angry people such as yourself. Just try to take a deep breath and be happy that for now this chunk of rock your standing on hurtling through space with no safety wires is doing so in a controlled fashion.

If you can walk the walk, you can talk the talk. I would argue that casey did walk the walk last year. If he walks the walk for the remaining 7 races this year these remarks if accurately reported and translated will be justified by being proven true. If not , he will deserve derision.

I personally am happy to see a gloves off no quarter battle with no further pretences; valentino sophisticated though he may be is as ruthless a competitor as there has ever been, a large contributor to his greatness. Unwise though these comments may be from a public relations viewpoint they follow stoner's consistent line of calling it as he sees it, and he may be aware that he can't possibly win a public relations battle anyway. I think it does cut through some of the mind games that have been/are being played. If he is going to make such remarks though he needs to be genuinely unconcerned about what is said about him by the press and not just say that he doesn't care.

Maybe it is just me, but I sure smell something 'fishy' in that 'article'.

I did say" if accurately reported and translated"
<
.

It isn’t anything beyond what he said immediately after the race, if anything the Spanish press, looking for a way to create a story have repeated it again in the hope they can whip the hornet’s nest up again.

It was 3/5ths of bugger all first time and now it is getting on. The biggest storm in the motogp teacup since Sete and Vale any number of years before. I still maintain a point I made earlier that the whole motogp field is happy to come second the Vale except Casey, no one pushes it or really challenges him and the fans should be pleased for the racing that will eventuate when this painfully long break finishes.

well if that article is accurate i would say vale has finally got in caseys head. casey may be loosing respect for vale but how many casey fans are loosing respect for him for whining in public about one of the best races we have seen in many years.

I don't think it requires vale getting inside stoner's head for him to make intemperate remarks off the track; he has been demonstrating a talent for this for the last 18 months or so
<
. If he puts the bike down again in the next race then we will know his head has been successfully messed with.

Given that I do not really 'buy into' the mind games scenario and that I firmly believe that CS is far stronger mentally than other 'combatants' (a fact that I believe VR recognises) I do not think any actions at upcoming rounds would indicate any mental failings on CS' part.

I have to also say that I do think all the comments printed about 'lost respect' are being taken well out of context of what was a longer series of interviews and would not relate to rider respect at any rate.

The risk however will be how being 25 points behind with 7 races to go plays on CS' mind. How CS handles this scenario will be of interest (for me anyway) as he is close enough to win the WC, but one mistake will likely end all hopes for 2008. Will he fold or start making errors through trying so hard, will he relish the challenge and rise to the occasion, or will he and VR have to contend with a rejuvenated DP and others post break?

Hopefully all will make for a good post summer break racing.

I think everyone places far too much prevalence onto getting into someone’s head. Sete allowed it (he tried to win public opinion AND overvalued it) and Max had enough self-assured ego to swallow the bait. Casey has neither of these faults.

No one is harder on Casey than Casey and critique from other riders or even the fan base would be nothing compared to the self-imposed castigation he is dishing out.

As for falling out with the fans he has already well and truly accomplished this. It started when he began beating Valentino and he has unsettled the whole motgp establishment.

Casey and Ducati were supposed to be also rans and the 800cc era was supposed to have belonged to its inventor (Honda), or the crowd favourite Valentino. As much as real racing is about being unpredictable Casey didn’t follow the script for unpredictability and as such lost a significant portion of the fan base a long time ago, I mean a gangly Aussie country kid on a Ducati - give me strength - what a joke.

That said there are a hell of a lot of Casey fans, and a hell of a lot of fans of real racing that don’t give a rodent’s rectum about popularity contests. Casey will bounce back from this somewhat wiser. I also think it is a dangerous precedent to believe that Casey won't learn the finer points of race craft anytime soon and will be left floundering under pressure but able to ride fast into 2nd place (thus validating the wish list script again)

If Casey drops the bundle and stops winning or even trying hard then the getting in the head thing will be validated. One race or the next race won’t prove it; a continued malaise would be required. Until then there is a lot of Vale fans in a foetal position rocking in the dark and praying he will go away.

i said stoner fans loosing respect for him not rossi fans, sure a lot of rossi fans started to dislike him purly because he was beating vale, some lost respect for him because of his tantrums and nothing to do with beating vale but im reading a different tone from his own fans after his parc ferme comments.
