Hopkins on Suzuki, Kawasaki and Stiggy

Nice read, very interesting how he compares the different bikes and what has to say about them.

Good interview with Hopper. Ambitious fellow, just bites him in the arse sometimes. Hope he can come back and ride out the rest of the season.

I love it when riders validate what we have been bitching about. MotoGp has turned in
a glamorized European 250 series. Next year more of the top rides will be taken by
Simoncelli and Bautista. Soon the grid will be totally comprised of Euro jockeys.
The sport has been barely watchable since the 990's and it doesn't look like anything
will change soon, if not ever. I used to rush home to catch practices and QP.
Now I watch none of it and barely have any interest in the races themselves.

And the .... is the casual non-informed, non-analytical spectator looks at the results on face value and determines their assessment. So perhaps you should rewrite your statement and qualify it with: "I love it when riders validate the 'discerning spectator' what we have been bitching about."

Its about the mouse trap, and the trap is getting smaller.

It would be easy to pass Hopkin's ... at MOTOGP as just another disgruntled employee. But as JK said it just confirms why MOTOGP just doesn't feel the same anymore. If you don't have the best stuff, there is no chance in hell that you are going to win these days. It's not a dig at Rossi or Stoner, but truth. Even Rossi said they need to make the satelite teams more competitive.
