soooo - i'm NOT new to watching motoGP just new to seeing it in person! just got back from austin – now i'm hooked...:p

i was thinking of hitting up indy, but is it worth it? it's a closer drive, just didn't know how others felt about it?

The track is less than desirable but many places to watch action up close. New LED Jumbotrons should enhance the experience. The weekend is second to none. The city of Indy knows how to host an event
 
I live in Austin and boy does my city suck in its efforts for making Motogp an exciting weekend. I think we had 2 billboards up and I might have heard one commercial on the radio. We had the Handbuilt show, which was cool, but that was it.
Indy on the other hand is a party. Meridian street knows how to do it.
Also, Hospitality suites at Indy are affordable (at least they were) if you wanna do it up.
I'd say do it for sure.
Anybody around here have any Indy Hookups?
Jumkie used to get a suite for about $400 right?
 
yeah - that's my only concern because I think the track is kind of boring but I know all the riders really like Indy. unless I could get a hook up on something good for Indy - would general admission be worth it?

it's good to hear they are getting new screens up - has anyone ever camped out too???

ideally - i'd love to go over seas but i guess that's something i need to plan a year ahead.
 
I've camped at Indy. It's pretty fun and you'll meet a lot more people. I did it for two years. It was a great experience. Then I got tired of roughing it and started staying at the Omni. I think showers were about $12 for 6 minutes at the campgrounds.
I used Pole Position Travel to book a Mugello trip. It was reasonably priced and they took care of everything once you got yourself to the hotel.
 
hahaha - $12 for 6 minutes?! that's insane - i'd rather be a scumbag for the weekend. and thanks for the tip about pole position. i'll have to look into them!
 
Been to Austin 3 times was also thinking of going to Indy.. Seems much more affordable. Neither is a great GP track but you gotta go with what you have. Moving back up North so Indy will be real close and GM tickets are cheap. Think it msy be worth it, as many contracts up at end of 2016 and may be key retirements. Hate to miss any opportunity seeing live races
 
It used to be a great event until Indiana banned gays. Im not gay but I have experimented.I used to hook up with so many umbrella girls from the event. We would eat at the Y all night long. LOL . Now I'm afraid to be seen kissing a girl in public. They might send me to jail. The Indiana guys are all so ugly too. Pasty white, fat and sweaty.

Here's a little tip some of the old powersliders know.
In indy, there is a woman that has a few suites just north of tha padoga, in the terrace tower.
She sells suite tickets for about $400 for the weekend,
that includes suite access, munchies on friday and hot food on saturday and sunday.
open bar and it also comes with paddock access.

I have known Beth for years, give her a call, best bang for your buck in Indy

Is she hot? Maybe Sparrow and I can dine on her munchies and enter her paddock. I'll give her a call to find out. I'm sure she won't Be pissed that some guy posted her private phone number online for all to see
 
I'll be at Indy with the esteemed and much beloved Jumkie. Also in my honorable crew will be the Great Wilski, Arrabiata and a few others. I've been to every American GP and a race over the pond. Indy puts on a great event. In my opinion it's the best organized event in the US. If you can comfortably make it, do it. It's a good weekend, not terribly overcrowded and unlike many venues, Indy is set up to host events 4x larger than GP and it shows. Traffic is generally manageable and there aren't any real limitations on the venue itself. It's a good time.

I track lacks character of course but the weekend is superbly hosted by the city of Indy and the organizers of the event.

Beth's suite is definitely worth it. $400 is a steal. Plus. I believe you get into the Paddock area where non-racers are the minority.
 
Hey Motochick, I'm an uncircumcised strait minority male from Indiana and pasty white skin, but you're too ugly for me....
