Honda WSBK Riders not on 08 cbr1000?

Why are riders like sofogulu and checa still on the damn 2007 spec bike. .... I know that american honda riders have tested the 2008 and why the hell are the WSBK riders not riding the new bike which will have a totally different feel and do not understand what the riders are getting from riding the 07.... I saw the pictures and they were on the 07 because I saw the front style and the under tail exhaust(the 08 is on the side)

Look at how long it took everyone to get the last gen 1000rr sorted out

HRC is putting all its effort in to GP. WSB Hondas will do OK, in AMA they will not be nothing special unless Honda opens its eyes.

I would imagine that the American Honda build the race bikes up in house from road spec. The world superbike team perhaps are waiting for the HRC superbike kitted bikes to come through, or Ten Kate are carying out some basic development and preperation still.

I could swear they are using the same bodywork as the 2008 rc212v.....looks EXACTLY the same, at least the front fairing.

Thats because bikes are coming out now with styling ruled much more by aerodynamics and less by style.
