Honda re-ups with Marquez through 2016. Did he let them off easy, or did he demand at least what Honda was publicly offering Stoner to stay.

I imagine he doesn't particularly care. However, he's now Kind of a Big Deal at Honda so if he did express an opinion I'm sure they'd heed it.

Pedrosa and Marquez were reportedly both making around 4 mil euro per year. I suspect Marquez's new contract will put him somewhere near the 15 million per year that Honda publicly offered Stoner to stay, I also suspect Pedrosa will be offered that same 4 million and he will accept it, unless Suzuki offers something significantly higher, which would be news, considering how tight they are with rider salaries.
